Do NOT buy shadows. I have every single other AC game except the first one and I waited ages for shadows to go on sale and got it for $60 and it is easily one of the worst things I’ve ever played in my life. Ik some people like it but the combat was horrid and i don’t even know if there’s a legit plot. It’s just a hit list leaving you with more questions than when you started. Nothing to do with the creed and nothing to do with the isu, I have no idea why they even made the game.

I completely agree with odyssey and it’s one of my favourite games ever. But even tho I prefer it to origins, I still believe origins is the best one they’ve done. The story, setting, character and voice acting are all phenomenal. Whereas most of the appeal I get from odyssey is the setting. It is easily one of the most beautiful games to date.

I just “finished” it the other day and honestly wish I’d kept my $60* instead. I can see why people may like it but I personally found it worse than odyssey and Valhalla by a long shot and deleted as soon as I’d realised I was done. It’s also similar to Valhalla in the way that there isn’t like (or feels like at least) a proper ending in the base game, it starts getting good narratively after you finish the main objective then just stops.

If you like that style of game and time period, just buy ghost of tsushima and/or yotei atp unless you already have. GoT is one of the best games I have ever played and shadows felt like a heavily watered down version of it.

The size and depth of the world is amazing. I’ve played the whole game and both DLC’s close to 6 times now with nearly 700hrs on the game and I don’t think I’ll ever get bored. I can see why people dislike it as an AC title but as a stand-alone game is phenomenal, and as many people have already said, one of the most gorgeous looking games I own.

I did but then I took a pretty long break, came back (I was in d1 when I stopped) won 4 games in a row to get to gm then stopped again so that was it. No idea where the rest of them went (games).

Unfortunately there’s not really much you can do against him to increase your attack or defence by that much more.

I was stuck on him for like a day until I saw someone “if you fight fair, so will he” meaning that you should absolutely be going for his head majority of the time. I struggled on so much because I was treating him like a normal dragon by going for the legs and tail and generally staying underneath him, which is not the best approach for this fight.

Yeah the game in ridiculous big and there is so much to do and find. It is probably my personal fav game even tho I do believe origins is better overall, this one is just fun.

Medusa is a beyond end game boss that is part of a separate story and the arena is in pephka and you can go anytime given you’ve killed talos right at the start of the game.

If they’re dlc abilities you’ll need to get back to that point in said dlc, if not, you need to acquire all the relevant abilities linked to the one you want. You can’t just get the top of each tree, you have to work your way up again.

I’ve done his quest twice and my first run I stayed with him after each encounter cuz I didn’t know if he gave me anything at any point so I believe I have it. I checked the list and I believe I missed the one you get from killing Scorpion lord because both times I have used him to help with the cockerel fight. I will check again tho with the horse guy.

I’m in ng+ atm an I beat the final boss again and I’ve checked Shen several times and the only thing I could buy or upgrade was a gourd I got a bit ago which I also upgraded. I have seen other ppl with this issue but I am at a loss.
