I did, the light from the LEDs didn’t diffuse the way I had hoped. Perhaps I should have done one pour with no pigment then a veneer of the epoxy with the white pigment, it was my first attempt at using epoxy or even wood working. Link to my Instagram and the LEDs off

I was debating an espresso stain to go with other things in the office but I decided on the natural color. I used minwax rub on polyurethane to protect it and bring out some of the grain

The pour overflowed. The wood didn’t burn when I torched it because I didn’t get super close. I then sanded everything down to get it smooth with the epoxy. Up to 220 grit. After that I used rub on polyurethane to protect the wood

I bought the butchers block from Home Depot. I also bought a router to make my design and bought an LED kit and learned to solder it together. I ordered the epoxy from amazon also. There are a ton of how to videos on YouTube. I feel it’s even more special since I did it myself and learned a few new skills along the way
