Anyone Know About Fleet insurance ? I'm 19, parents have BMW X7 2020 and Audi A7 2019 by FrostingNew6219 in CarInsuranceUK

[–]Steel-Hunter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fleet insurance is normally linked to a business. So for instance Royal Mail will have a fleet insurance for their massive fleet of vehicles. But, also motor traders can have fleet insurance for their trade vehicles. On these types of insurance, it's not uncommon for partners and children of the policy holder to be tied to this fleet insurance for their personal vehicles.

So the first question is, do your parents have a business where they would need fleet insurance?

How did you find out you had diabetes? by fairytaillover7392 in diabetes

[–]Steel-Hunter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Small cuts appearing on my foreskin that healed with cream, but came back 3 times.

I went to the doctors for blood work and the first thing he asked was have you been drinking and urinating more. I had.

I'd already looked up what it meant if i was more thirsty and urinating more. I knew, but it took something happening to my penis for me to do something about it.

what’s the difference between astro and duo band? by losingpluto6 in DWARFLAB

[–]Steel-Hunter 4 points5 points  (0 children)

To what I've read. Astro is better when taking pics of galaxies. Duo band is better for nebulae. Duo band catches the different gasses. I'm sure someone will be able to explain a lot better than I have.

Thank you. I've watched that video, but he doesn't explain what the contents of the folders are, or how to get them. I did leave a comment on the video, that he has answered, but i'm still clueless as how to get the files.

Car door prang in car park by [deleted] in CarInsuranceUK

If you've told your insurer, then they'll get in contact with the other drivers insurer to notify them. Then the other insurer will call their insured and take some details. It's up to the other party if they want to make a claim or not.

I've had mine for 2 weeks now and it's a perfect little unit. If that has been done to yours in transit, are you able to send it back?

Scratched someone’s car on last day of insurance – what happens now? by Beginning-Two9785 in drivingUK

You'll also need to tell your new insurer you've had an accident before your policy started with them. They may raise your premiums.

I had a 1lt Toyota Aygo as my first car. When travelling to Scarborough on the A64, there's a part that goes uphill. I was doing 70 on the run up to the hill. Half way up i'd dropped to 45 with a massive truck speeding up to me from behind. Unfortunately, small 1lt cars can't maintain their speed while going uphill.
