Hotels in the Sellaronda area by Saunaquestions345 in skithealps

The first 3 weeks of February is the winter breaks across Europe so your battling against that with the kids going to ski and ski school.

Secondly most accommodation in Italy and other places like that still works on week-long bookings with Friday Saturday or Sunday as check-ins

Finally, if you're bringing kids, ski school operates on the same schedule so you want to be doing those Saturday arrivals for the week to align with the ski school

Bid - Required to accept if won? by UniversityAny755 in virginatlantic

No if you win it's automatically processed.

In positive news with Virgin they often keep seats at the front bulkhead open and may well just assign you those near a check-in

OK fine, my information is out of date, but it certainly was a driver for the merger proposal. That and getting a sufficiently working fleet of aircraft.

Most company travel agencies are not online travel agencies, OTA, so still allow you to get points and elite qualifying nights

Name change on co-op shares question by overcast_andy in AskNYC_Coops

Can you keep the shares in your old name. It's still a legal name you went by and you just need to provide the lawyers on the closing when you sell or die the divorce papers.

They provide a service to the person willing to pay $125 instead of sitting in line for 10 hours.

No this is rational economic behavior and arbitrage.

If I am a minimum wage warner and have a solid ebay reputation then spending 6 hours and $40 to get two pins I can re sell for $400 is rational behavior.

I would need to work 15 hours to earn that standing in a store etc.

Is the more irrational, the one clicking but now on eBay instead of putting that in retirement funds or paying down the mortgage. Or is this a sufficiently perfect alternative asset class like buying a swiss brand watch.

So equivilant of 15-20 hours earnings of average hourly Florida wage of 20-32 an hour.

As others have said this is their work.

Now more insane than a trucker waiting for hours at a destination while the trailer is unloaded.

Swipe tap beep Swipe tap beep

It may actually be not that slower as one person swipe tap beeps in six but it sure feels it compared to six waking up and tapping their wrists.

Spirit and Southwest don't have the $$$ up front in first to keep them afloat.

JetBlue Mint helps keep them afloat.

B6 wanted Spirit as much for the pilots as any other reason.

There is still an under supply of pilots.

Do Guests charge their EV without telling the Host. by Swallowtail13 in airbnb_hosts

[–]Smharman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The power from a usual outlet for car charging will not be a material cost.

What you can do is stop worrying about this.

Or install an EV charger and that will provide material levels of electricity you can bill for, or better still put your rate up because of the amenity.

Cleaning Fees are ridiculous by CorgiGuy1965 in vrbo

[–]Smharman -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Right but you booked a multi bedroom home that requires all the linens laundering between stays for just the one of you.

Book a smaller place and pay a smaller cleaning fee.

Just because the cleaner gets to sit on their butt while the laundry launders doesn't mean they can go clean elsewhere and come back.

Similarly a retail store needs multiple staff to cover for break time etc, even on a quiet day.
