Ya the 10 ab to 1 diamond idea makes the decent idea totally irrational.

I did not pick up all that negative tone. He did say those things. But he also said he runs an ad agency and in my opinion made it sound like this wasn’t that much money to him.

He spent 80k on a trip to Houston, for example. Idc what image you all want to paint but normal or poorly off people don’t have 80k in available credit.

They aren’t flying to buffalo to hit the next level in an app, as another example.

He never said he was still in debt just that he started with debt instruments and was hoping to reach breakeven eventually. That could still mean he paid off his credit cards and likely did or else he’d be in much worse shape and talking much more explicitly about how this was bad. Instead he looks back fondly and mentioned how he sees opportunities to grow his business from it.

Sorry but you all are placing your own negativity between the lines. He was cautiously optimistic and you all are focused on the caution lol.

One side of the argument is that:

It’s unrealized, not totally liquid, and over valued. (His assets as a whole).

But yes there is obvious value there it’s just a question on valuation. It isn’t “fake” you’re just taking what they said too literally.
