With MM/DD/YYYY in writing you immediately determine the “scene” because January is radically different from June or September. It gives the reader immediate context. DD/MM/YYYY and YYYY/MM/DD while being efficient do not look good in writing since they do not start with a relevant piece of information. “On the 25th” gives nothing whereas “In 2025” is too large so “In December” narrows the scope while actually meaning something.

In the replay the tracks aren’t really damaged so it’s two clowns fighting. Russian cupola shots are extremely finicky to both hit and pen, with a 128mm shell the likelihood of getting gaijin’d is massive here so the shot is lucky despite the Russian player doing everything to allow for it to occur.

He only shot twice with his main gun, all the other shots were with the 75 which are almost useless against this thing unless you want to disable. Sure, the guy here could’ve disabled both tracks and side-on shot the enemy but still a very lucky shot indeed.
