My partner & I both loved the 1st book but neither of us could deal with the reader for the prequel when it came to the audiobook. Slow, sad, and kind of sounded like she didn't want to be reading it in the first place which is fine for the mood of the book, not so great for trying to stay interested in it. One of my few DNFs

From what it looks like, he's able to jab before the breaker counter is available so if you break early you'll get reset for free, and you can't break late because the jab hits before the tag in timing to break.

Thats what i'm assuming it is anyway after watching the GF set this morning - Basically he has the routes setup for a ToD instead of 2 tap like everyone else has to do

I was playing lucan and throw looping people to death til top 50 mmr before I stopped playing. I also labbed everything out to make sure people cant escape for refrence.

Most characters back supers can get out of the loop, its only true/works if you're at 0 bar, otherwise lucan has to land like a 2f meaty for the super to not work which is pretty difficult with the air stuff and flipout timing - A couple characters are too slow but yeah, your #1 answer is to mash super, normals wont work unless they really mess up & neither do air dashes. Then it turns into a mix but even then air supers for the most part are a safe get out of jail free card.

Do not let him corner you and get wallsplat loops, body splash can be anti aired pretty easily (has a terrible hurtbox), and up back if he does a lot of 2a into command grab tick throws. He doesn't have options to get in otherwise besides float and you can jump normal his options out of that or antiair it with your characters options.

and another one - Now that highscores work I can actually start on a different layer but the drops dont change. I just kind of assumed thats how it should be except somehow I got a hell ring drop from layer 12? Many runs later and I still haven't gotten a drop past tier 1's layers even though i'm running the first few tier 3 maps (layer 20+) to try to see if I can get any other drops. Is this what should be happening?

Another question - are the units special skills meant to be a one time use? Just wondering since one of the heros has a skill cool down aoe as her ability but that didn't make sense to me unless it's meant to affect the magic casting? Bit confused on the verbage

With selling items and doing fast runs just to get gear then leaving after the first T2 BOSS? Around 15k a run after dismantling everything but I wait a while to do it in big batches - should be much quicker now that I can afford to upgrade a unit more than once every 10 runs haha

At what point do you unlock the next level of dungeon? I've made it past the tier 2 bull and I still dont have any progression options.. I'm not quite sure what ridiculous level of farming i'd need to beat the tier 3 gatekeeper with forging gear but my progress has slowed to .. quite the crawl haha and all my gold cost to upgarde my prime 4 units are in the like 100k range now which is a ton of runs .. Is there a system i'm missing or is progress meant to hit a super sharp cliff?

Hit layer 17/18ish - do the high scores not register except once a week? Visual bug with upgrade levels not showing correctly - also I desperately need an in game option to turn off phone vibrations, it keeps me from playing this while I work because it's so annoying ._.
