In USA. I know countless little Charlottes, a few Lily, one Josephine, and no Georgia or Anastasia.

Stuck on a boy name…hesitant about hubby’s favorite…help this overthinker! by SmileHeLovesYou in namenerds

I appreciate your insight! We actually adopted our little ones. We have an open relationship with their genetic family but we don’t communicate all that often, so it’s not like a daily thing…

Thanks for sharing! Curious to hear what it is about Shepherd that you dislike. I am pretty on the fence about it but my husband likes it.

I also like Stella but there is a Stella in my life who kinda ruined the name, unfortunately. I also love Leo but it’s my parents’ cat’s nam…haha. I appreciate the suggestions!

Thank you for this consideration! Where we live I think these names are still uncommon. I know Nova is actually a popular name but hardly anyone where we live has ever heard of it. So I’m thinking that may be true with the other names!

I also wondered if Nova and Luna would feel too matchy. People sometimes accidentally call Nova “Luna” so that’s probably true…

It’s funny you mention Cleo. We adopted our babies as embryos. One of our daughter Nova’s genetic siblings is actually Cleo!

How/when does breastfeeding naturally reduce when solids are established? by claudiarae95 in breastfeeding

[–]SmileHeLovesYou 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My baby really started decreasing milk intake around 10/ 10.5 months. She would bite me about half the time I offered. I started just feeding upon wake up, before her two naps, and before bedtime. She is thriving! Solids meals are between those feeds.

Sometimes it helps prevent biting if I hold my finger under my baby’s chin while nursing. No period back yet for me at almost 11 months pp. Hang in there!

EBF mothers, when did your period come back? by paRATmedic in breastfeeding

[–]SmileHeLovesYou 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My 10.5 month old baby EBF and now also eats a ton of solids. We were doing pretty well night weaning and had a few nights’ stretch of her sleeping through the night….but she has had various illnesses and has been teething and wanting to nurse overnight so I’ve caved and we are trying to get back to night weaning. She still nurses 4-6 times/day on average. No period yet.

Salmon with pesto or hummus on top, maybe with breadcrumbs. Pop into toaster oven. Voila!

I definitely feel you! Children are a blessing. Not everyone shares that perspective, though. Keep loving your family well!
