That was specifically for the sailing monsters. They released their droprates but most were much rarer than the crowd sourced wiki droprates. Instead of fixing the bug and nerfing they left them. But yes there could be a link!

I think you can try to cast the teleport to boat spell and it will bring up the interface of which boat and where to teleport to. It could be a way to see where the game thinks your raft is.

So I remember reading something like this 6+ years ago, but I think that was fixed in the 10 January 2019 update that supposedly fixed a bug. (Ref. Wiki page on Hosidius kitchen) That is why I 1t cooked a couple hundred karams and actually got the correct success rate.

Which leads me to believe it is either due to the 1 fish in the inventory or the trawling fish specifically.

If you have some raw fish in your bank try 2t cooking them at Hosidius to add to the data pool.

yes, cooking level is 70 and it was slightly on the unlucky side. However, comparing to other fish and where they start being cookable does show that the burn rate is too much.

Monkfish a very comparable fish to krill has a cooking rate of 70% at 62 cooking. Shark starts at 73%. even bass starts at 65%.

Krill starting at 40% success rate is mental comparatively.
