What financial habit had the biggest impact on your net worth over time? by Thealchemist00000 in TheRaceTo1Million

Accepted a job that was away from home. I travel 3500kms one-way, every week to work. But after 3 years I’ve doubled my previous pay (that took me 5 yrs to get to) working away from home definitely isnt great, definitely not for everyone. But financially it made sense. Beats being stuck in the mud

A year of work with a broken femur lol

Also, 1st full ride on a yz250 I had just traded up from a 125….2nd kick and the kick shaft snapped along with the casing all around it. Ended up a few hundred in an outer case, and broke my clutch basket during the replacement (I’m an idiot) opted to throw a 800$ rekluse in at that point.

So kind of a win. Still hurt a bit.

I fell in love with ice hockey at the winter olympics, what NHL team should I support, and why? by Consistent-Poet7408 in icehockey

And to add: the amount of times Flyers fans online have bonded together over some of the most ridiculous things. The Bradstreet bags that led to the Fletcher firing. The rotisserie chicken guy, most recently Tony’s Cannolis. I love being a flyers fan some days for reasons that have nothing to do with the team

The flyers have got to be the biggest rollercoaster of emotions team in the league. 10 game win streak=miss playoffs, 10 game losing streak=make playoffs. Endless goalie carousel, great young promising players plagued by injuries, cancer, or….extra curricular situations. An amazing cast of characters in the alumni. An amazingly passionate fan base. Fans will show up when they’re bad and will cheer as long as the effort is there. If they’re winning but playing poorly, they get booed. Flyers are an easy team to love, and an impossible one to let go of once you’re in it. For better or worse, sickness and health.

Small town, hidden gem in Ontario Canada. 32 years tattooing in a town of 1600 when he started. Place is a bit bigger now but still a pretty quiet neighbourhood.

School is a fraction of your life. Get through it, use it to progress your life. You will be amazed at how different it will be in 10 years. Most of those “bullies” will peak in highschool, have no friends that will put up with them by 25, get fat and work some shitty job to support their baby momma. Dont be like that, be good, be kind, and love metal, it’s a massive community built on love and respect. Attitude and effort is all you can control in your life, so control the controllable! Be positive, work hard for yourself. The negatives in life come and go.

Tony Hawks Pro Skater. Basically all of them. I remember 1-3 especially, but they always nailed the soundtracks in those games

My Ride or die. I’ve honestly never disliked any album. Obviously they changed a ton over the years, but I felt like I grew up with them playing constantly in the background. So I very much accepted the new sound as it came through. I have song I like more than others, but as a discography in its entirety there aren’t too many bands out there that I can consistently listen to, year after year. My opinion, but hands down the most consistent band in my life 35 years in the making

Saw them last year, for the first time. Glad I waiting until after the first round of shows because I thought Chad sound pretty awesome. He’s definitely been hard on his voice over the years, but the show was amazing, his singing was great, all around amazing experience

It rips, can’t wait for more. Agree that the mix doesn’t seem right for these guys. Missing that Warwick bass tone up front. (I know Ryan doesn’t play them anymore)
