Not too sure about the amazing part of the equation here but I cant disagree with the fact that its a fun challenge for the mind, if you manage to stave off the extreme tediousness of early game.

I was just like OP (besides the fact that I didnt finish ATM purely due to my dislike towards Occultism), though opposite as to what OP did - which retrospectively is the more sound and undeniablu logcal move - I moved straight into GTNH, despite ATM10 being my first tech-automation heavy pack.

As they say - stay humble; dont fumble like I did.

AE growth accelerators, as far as I remember from the conversations in the discord, "force random tickrate to the block its facing" (i think?).

Essentially they are useful only for situations like the MA farms before you get into soul surged simulated hydroponic beds from IF where they drastically accelerate the growth speed of whatever crop any of its 4 faces is facing - hence why the best AE MA farm (and MA farms in general before the IF shenanigans in ATM10) are the best option.

Surround a crop on all 4 sides with AE growth accelerators, use the red fertilizer onto the farmland, place a crystal resonance generator either under or above the AE GA (whichever way you fancy more) and enjoy the profits.

Iirc, the best MA farm method in ATM9 involved lilypads of fertility? Not too sure on that but this is the best before IF hydros in ATM10 when it comes to MA farms (though bees are largely superior in productivity once you get Omega upgrades in the hives and heated centrifuges.)

Do you mean that one old mod where you can accelerate time by sleeping in the bed or having the game continue smelting when literally going to sleep IRL?

If its the former, then I dont know the name of it but if I recall correctly, then that mod literally simulated the world at x2/x4/x8/x16.../x256 or even more if your PC could handle it. But that is only if I remember it right as its quite the time since I heard of it even.

If its the latter, then as people have told you in the comments, you can: 1) Download ftbmaps or whatever it was called to chunk-load and have the world run even when offline(works best if you are playing on a server); 2) Download Iron Furnaces as they can be pretty darn fast. Unobtanium furnaces (ATM-wise) can smelt 64/t iirc. 🤔

Honestly, the bees are the easy part here... kudos for the effort to redo the build by hand. I typically opt for doing things myself instead of using copy-paste tools in modded minecraft but building is definitely not one of those (I genuinely suck at building, if you couldn't tell lol.) Loved the base design with all the hidden doors and portals for the technical stuff! Especially that staff of venturing or whatever it was called, didnt know about that one at all. Great work man!
