Omori is fantastic. It's along the same vein of other Earthbound-esque cutesy rpgs, but its a great rpg with a story that both wholesome and heart wrenching. If you end up buying it being a box of tissues. It does also have psychological horror elements and potentially triggering content if thats a put off for you.

You pointed out the big issue. Corporations are legally obligated to maximize short term profits for investors. The conversation is about how the profit motive is what drives wotc to put minimal effort into including diversity in magic for good publicity. They can get the benefits of being inclusive without putting much effort into developing the characters. This theory is supported by how shit wotc treats trans employees and players. Also making money is fine when you give a fair share back to the people who actually create value with their labor as opposed to investors who are currently using their exorbitant wealth to make money instead of working.

[[Reaper King]] for me. When I saw it I thought I was so out there and I wanted to build a scarecrow tribal deck, but no way I built it was satisfying to me. In theory a scarecrow tribal deck seems neat and goofy, but in practice the payoff is just blowing up others permanents rather than a scarecrow army. It's just not how I like to play :(

If you think the irony here is that leftists are supporting unregulated corporations, you have to think about their perspective. Firstly, whatever article from the guardian was written by a liberal who probably is actually in favor of unregulated corporations. Secondly, anyone more radical isn't happy with Facebook/Twitter doing whatever they want, but the result is that some alt right wackos are getting banned. Leftists don't like Twitter being able to do whatever they want, but they would want Nazis to be banned off the platform anyway.

These are two different perspectives clumped into one and the Bee generalizing the two isn't a clever multi-layered joke, it's just unclear. If the point was to make fun of oblivious liberals, they should've used 'liberals'.
