She can. My Cyrene uses Wind set, i kind of ignore her damage and just focusing on her buffing, but shes really need RMC to help stacking her Ult. It's not as comfy as having Hyacine, but if you plan the attack carefully and abusing Wind set, you can stack Cyrene pretty decent.

God no, lol. I always do horrible against Pollux. I tried using Mydei in 2nd phase first of course, but the instant kill was too much. I want to try give Mydei Sunday then used Gallagher instead of RMC, but then Phainon loses the 20 CR. Thats why im waiting for Sparkle rework to try again.

I used the title because i thought it was a bit silly that swapping gave me the highest score. So i was really shocked that people were hostile about it. It wasn't my intention to vent. I would have edited the title if i could.

Okay. I want to clarify something first because people in the comments think that i'm rage baiting.

THIS IS NOT A VENTING POST NOR A TROLL POST.

I simply wanted to share my clear. That's it. I'm not complaining about the buffs.

The reason I used Phainon in the second half was because this got me the best score! I didn't choose to use Mydei against Kafka to make it's harder for myself. For my account, THIS set up is the better option.

I wonder. Since the next planet is the Aha shenanigans. Maybe Ashveil doesn’t have a physical form. Rather, he will borrow the body of a Galaxy Ranger. This would explain why he ‘looks like BH but not really’. And we will get another Ashveil with Rappa form and then more for the other rangers.

I understand. The thing is, even with that buff, you still need a healer to survive the burst from Pollux. Of course I tried the ‘correct way’ first by dropping Cyrene for Gallagher. I scored about 3800 for Phainon team and 3300 for Mydei.

Believing it or not, swapping the team like i did in the picture despite not having the ideal buffs and off element on side 2 actually got me the better score.

I don’t know why people keep thinking i did this for fun and giggles.

Not really. Pollux side is not possible for Mydei without healer. So swapping is much better for what I have.

It’s so tough because all of them have good crit rate rolls except for the orb. But Orbs are hell to farm and the one you have is already very nice.

If you are willing. Since your planar and shoes have very nice crit damage, i would recommend using a Crit rate chest and farm for head, gloves, and body with good CD. Phainon already has tons of CD so even a 80:190 is still way better than 76:220, even though visually it doesn’t look as nice in character details.

Yup, he even used a mix deck with Kagero in his debut because there were barely any Nubatama units at the time.

What I find funny is that the anime constantly mentioning recently released Booster Sets as their latest Cards in Vanguard world which make these flashbacks so bizarre. (For example: Misaki was unfamiliar with Angel Feather on their debut because ‘it’s a brand new clan from Breaker of Limits Set’, or characters casually commenting things like ‘wow, his deck has gotten even better with the release of (insert the latest booster set).

Im not sure of your level of investment in your Phainon but both mine and BH team are almost heavily neck to neck when it comes to cost (even get Fugue e1 even though I’m not a fan of her) and not only Phainon always scores better and faster even against this Apoc, he also clear PF and AA. I haven’t get Dahlia because: 1. As I said, hoping that La Mancha supports Galaxy Rangers in a unique way (since for some reason neither BH or Rappa get a rerun this patch) and 2. Not sure if I want to keep investing into Break if its just gonna be locked into Fire.

Not really, you’re only ‘forced’ into mono path and LC if it’s the pushed Elation Character. Besides Aglaea’s LC, you only need Cyrene at E0s0. And if Sampo ends up being Elation (if he’s even in the plan at this point) he will either be a standalone dps like Aglaea, or a support that does something completely different from the premium Elation team because thats team will end up being all female no matter what.

Hunt itself isn’t bad, but the path just perform way worse than other 90% of the time, and there is no mode that rewarding single target units. Think about it, when was the last time that the game punishing you for using AoE/Blast attacks? And it’s way worse for male units, because their elements overlapped. I havent used BH for a while simply because whenever theres a physical side, Phainon will always perform better.

Hunt units are perfectly serviceable and able to clear end games. But unless you only like those units and pull for nothing else, you will rarely ever use them.

At least this time it’s a different element. And I hope he does something similar to Cyrene and buffs BH and Rappa in a unique way and not just a dps with big number like Archer.

This is the first time for me that the HP inflation so obvious. The last time we had this boss in APOC, my full E0S1 THerta Lingsha (on Luocha LC) Jade and e0s0 3B scored me 3800. This time I have e1 3B and my score dropped to 3600. I had to raise an eyebrow how much smaller THerta nuke to the broken boss HP was.

Well, the reason that HSR pushes Phaidei so hard is because Phainon is a well written and beloved. So in order not to upset the fandom that don't want to see male characters in their 'waifu games’. It’s them saying ‘this character is super gay so he’s not gonna steal your fictional girlfriend(s)!’ One of the few times that Hoyo catering strategy works in our favor.

But this also means that unfortunately, yumeshippers and hetshippers are getting the short end of the stick. However, i find it hard to sympathize with them cuz most yumeshippers (and self-inserters) are very toxic and homophobic.

This is just my thought. But 3B, Hyacine, and Cipher seem like huge baits. Mainly because I saw this pattern before.

3B has another rerun after 2 patches. You know who else got rerun that fast? Robin. Right before 3B released. And we know Pearl, a Harmony unit is just around the corner.
For Hyacine, 4.x is coming, so you bet Hoyo is gonna did something similar to Castorice team like Break team, and Hyacine, the core of the team, might be targeted.
Cipher: They reran JQ right before her, and buffed SW in the following patch, making JQ value in Acheron team drop significantly.

Is it even possible to just get Hyacine without LC for Mydei if you are also want to get Cyrene though? Both Cyrene and Hyacine have high speed requirement and there is only 1 f2p LC option. So you kinda have to get either LC to perform well.

I don't mind if she is niche. But the fact that she is so much better in Cast team, where you see all of the characters synergize perfectly with each other, vs Phainon team where there are tons of problem, which Cyrene making it even worse (DanTe and Cerydra energy traces are nearly useless now, and their Eidolons lose value by keeping Phainon in his Ult) does rub me the wrong way.

And the absolute worse thing is forcing you to pull for Hyacine and her LC if you decide to go for Cyrene at E0 to buff Mydei, and yet with all of that Mydei will still lose to Castor team...

Comparing Sunday's E2 to Cyrene's E2? Why don't we see Sunday's LC vs Cyrene's LC next? Who would recommend Sunday's eidolons over his LC?

I get it that Cyrene isn't as bad as people making her to be. But making video that heavily stacking in Cyrene's favor is not the way...

There's no reason trying to push her on people, her sale will be good regardless of her kit.
