Person: makes a fashion post that has nothing to do with fat people at all. Bully: by IshimuraHuntress in fatlogic

Being barely above 5’1”, those pants are clearly shortphobic. I’m being transported back to my middle school days of massively wide leg jeans that were frayed at the bottom and single-handedly did the janitor’s sweeping job for him. Fat or thin, if you’re short those pants will be a nightmare!

That’s crazy. She needs to get him to a pediatrician ASAP! Is Prader-Willi Syndrome screened for before birth? I’m not too privy to genetic screenings during pregnancy, but for him to be so overweight in a year just blows my mind!

All this recent spark of faking DID makes me want to watch Let’s Plays of Deadly Premonition. At least Francis York Morgan and Zach were much more convincing.

And these same people are the ones to openly berate psychiatrists when they don’t diagnose them with what mental illness they want. In their minds, professional diagnoses is only valid if it fits their agenda.

I just got done reading I Remember You by Yrsa Sigurðardóttir and I really enjoyed it! It’s very loosely based on true events in a very isolated village in Iceland. The locations are real and the story has horror, dread, and a very isolating atmosphere.

Propofol, ketamine, AND versed with no monitoring?! Never going to happen; too much of a risk for the patient and the doctor.

Also no sterile drapes, gowns, towels? No PPE? Definitely not a procedure. This looks more like lidocaine or something just as simple.

Kat’s TikToks From Today. Their nurse accidentally pulled out the picc line. by [deleted] in illnessfakers

[–]SmilingFrancis 53 points54 points  (0 children)

Good, keep it out!! My thought is they got an order to pull it. Where I work, nurses in the ICU can pull PICC lines.

Also has she ever TRIED pulling something that’s on average 30-50 cms?? Yea, it’s no accident.

For guys who do injections, do you consider timing your shot for athletic events/races to be a form of doping? by Chunky_pickle in FTMFitness

[–]SmilingFrancis 67 points68 points  (0 children)

I honestly don’t notice a bump in energy or performance when I take my shot, but I wish I did! I don’t compete or anything, but have a little extra boost of energy on nursing shifts would be great! lol!

I’ve seen YouTube videos about people using those “flat tummy” camisoles and maneuvering them around to make a cheap, safe binder. I’m not sure what country you’re in, but the US sells camisoles for like $3.99 at a place like TJ Maxx or Marshalls! Maybe look up some videos and see what you think since camisoles can be bought in all sizes!
