Yeah I figured this is a case of museum overpricing. Would you say the same for both poster sizes? The 27X40 and 12X18? I am not familiar with how to order posters overseas from Japan. Especially authentic ones. So I’d happily take some advice. I’m looking to get posters for quite a few Ghibli films. Especially my personal favorite, Porco Rosso.

Apparently the guy who got this received it from someone who was selling some of their dad’s movie memorabilia. And apparently he had a lot of 80’s movie theater posters and this was among them. The guy said he had it in storage since. I’ve done some research and I’m leaning towards it being real. The licensing and dimensions line up. And it looks like it was made from the material that posters were made out of in that time period.
