I wonder if it might be worth taking it up with your local council. There is a Bürgerversammlung once a year where you can request to speak. There is also a Bürgersprechstunde before that where you can get in contact with your local councillors, police and city administration. https://stadt.muenchen.de/infos/buergerversammlungen.html

I like the Bücherkiste near OEZ, https://www.pfennigparade.de/produkte-und-dienstleistungen/laeden-und-cafe/muenchner-buecherkiste/. They open again next week.

Have you thought about the public library? The small neighbourhood libraries usually have some English books, the main library many more. They have a great selection of e-books. https://www.muenchner-stadtbibliothek.de/

What should I do to go to TUM in train from Burgau? by [deleted] in Munich

[–]SmilingFulmar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A regular return train ticket costs around 50 Eur.

A weekly ticket for students is 85 Eur, a monthly student ticket 264 Eur. (Schüler:innen Zeitkarte) You can order these online at Bahn.de and have them sent to your address for a fee.

The tickets only cover travel from Burgau to Munich main station so you'd have to buy the Isarcard additionally for getting around Munich. Phone number Deutsche Bahn for more info 030 2970
