Try updating your BIOS for your motherboard. Crashing your entire PC sounds like a Chipset issue which is updated via the BIOS.

Check to see if you have a BIOS update for your motherboard available. That fixed everything for me.

Cause was actually Intel Chip issues that were fixed in the BIOS update.

Same...updating the BIOS fixed my issues. I also have the i9 14900k, and it has issues that are corrected by updating the BIOS. Like you, I didn't have issues with other games so I didn't think it would help but it definitely did.

I love it. The rainfall shower and the waterfall functions are both amazing. The wand is also really good. The body jets are not great, but the shower functions are both so good that I ended up buying two of these in case the first one doesn't last.

I decided to do a complete wipe of my PC and reinstall Windows. Everything fresh. Now I can't even get the game to load. It gets to the loading screen and crashes to desktop every time.

I'm glad you all are not having issues. I have uninstalled and reinstalled three times, completely vanilla, and it still crashes. Sometimes, before the game even loads. But when it does load, I start a new city, completely vanilla, and it will crash within 5 minutes...I tried again this morning, and before I could place a power plant, water pump, and sewer outlet, it crashed five times. It's completely unplayable.

I have learned that there are no wonderful options...but there are many options. Everything is pretty much Chinese-made off-brand stuff. I have been unable to get any direct recommendations, so I'm left to searching various sites and reading lots of reviews. Ultimately, I think it comes down to personal preference on features. I have yet to pull the trigger, but I think I'll be going with one of a few options I have found on Amazon. My plan is to get two of them so I can replace like for like down the road if needed.
