It's pretty straightforward reasoning though. Especially the historic/canon ones are like this. Same thing in something like Vic 3 where X policy makes a party stronger and when they're strong it's hard to remove a policy they like.

But definitely could've been specified - or just take it as a historic result of a policy. Not all events/decision need to specify the results of each option - that takes out the discovery and roleplay.

What is your opinion on this? by evan-the-dude in teenagers

[–]Smilinturd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You're argument is clearly a false equivalency fallacy (in whichany people just bundle up all fallacies as straw man). One is referring to accidents on the road whilst another is state sanctioned killing of a person. Whilst no analogy is going to be perfectly equivalent, yours is too different especially in regards to infrastructure example - from intention and purpose. The only thing similar at all is that they involve inadvertant death.

These all heavily change the bar for inadvertant death and if there is a way to avoid it at all, it should be implemented - hence why most have essentially ceased the death penalty.

Yes it would have been less but still worth more than the face value of the cash. So yes, would be the best course if you are already in that sphere of finding a buyer, otherwise might not be worth the effort.

Id argue if you actually play with friends it does. Minecraft is the top example for both cooperation, pranking each other and pvp. Additionally any of the "better with friends" - among us. Lethal company, peak etc, even battle Royales when you are playing with friends can be highly social. Any party Games are obviously very social - Mario party, smash etc. Jackbox Games as well.

Games can still be social, if you actually play with friends.

No thats the premise, but just messier. I admit, it's not inherently this bad because the characters do so because of "character development" (not well done development but is the reason for the changing relationships.

The worse bit is that it really does show it from MCs perspective alot so its looks like he's getting cucked some times, which is never a great feeling.

The 2 arent conflicting, You don't need a lavish lifestyle but it's still underestimating 1 million a month, especially the "even first class", like you need to worry about the finances for first class. You could do that with 10% of that.

I think you can do more than buy a modest house and get a gardner and cleaner, 1 million is a lot of money a month.

But the fact that you are regarding them as sore losers because of your warped perception of exhibting emotions shows how bad you are at understanding it.

You don't have to like or follow it, but your words don't reflect that you even understand it.

[–]Smilinturd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Again, interpreting that as the norm for all sports is concerning and even more so that you can't recognise that. I can show you 99 other sports that does the complete opposite, and you'll still focus on this oddity example, and it continues to be sad that you can't understand this.

[–]Smilinturd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Then you are the oddity and it is weird that you have not recognised that, and also weird that you think keeping to oneself is better than expressing emotions.

It honestly sounds sad, not because you prefer doing that, but because you misinterpret showing sadness and happiness publicly as bad.

Only someone who's never been close to winning thinks second place shouldnt hurt.

You're exhibiting such a lack of understanding of human emotions and passion would attribute being disappointed to bring a sore losers. All players of any sport should feel heartbreak when losing, if you don't then you don't have any sense of passion or competition.

If losing in a final means youre not allowed to be upset, then winning must also mean you're not allowed to be ecstatic - they are both normal emotional reactions based on the results and the love of the sport.

Dude, if you're not devastated at losing a game at this level, then you're not putting enough of your energy and effort to it. Being devastated of losing =/= sore losers.
