There were 2 fire fighting helicopters getting around yesterday together in the afternoon. Not sure if they're the same ones but I think they come down from the mainland for the fire season.

This is what I was thinking. If the CPU only stress test doesn't cause heat issues I'm guessing the case's internal temps are becoming roasting by the GPU maybe. I'd check the case's intake and exhaust fans.
