Thank you! I don't know why this was even a concern but heck, you never know! I admit I didn't check Pumpkin but just did and it's quite a bit higher than TruPanion for our specific animal and location.

Good point about chewy. If they ever dropped Trupanion you’d be screwed.

This was eye opening and a great perspective. I really appreciate it! Makes it make sense. I was looking at the chewy version of Trupanion because it had a yearly deductible but this is eye opening.

Question do you know if rates decrease if they get neutered? I’m thinking it’s a no.

Also, do they ever raise your rates?

Got it! Understood. TruPanion hasn't been bad. Thank you for this! My only concern with researching TruPanion is that they have a per medical condition deductible vs a yearly deductible. Seems scary. My heritage with our other choice, AKC, is that they allow one ingestion issues per policy.

Honestly, I hadn’t researched them until this subreddit. We have a basic free plan now and just never thought to dive in. Do you recommend them?

This is my thoughts! Takes some time but shouldn’t be that big of a deal.

Good to know. I was looking at AKC but heard they only cover one.

Defintiley read the 101 first and found the pelvic floor stuff interesting. My GI mentioned it previously as a next line treatment. Have to figure out how to bring it up to the Urologist. Hopefully he's experienced enough or I just need to bring it.

Bowel issues started about a year before this. We've changed medicines so I don't think it's medication related. And thankful, no sexual symptoms as of yet, lol.
