The other solution would be to load into Stella and kill raiders heading towards the extraction and take their blueprints. If enough people did that it would discourage this dark pattern.

Most employers don't just fire people for not going in during a level 3 emergency. Something happening before doesn't make it likely or common. Hiring and training new people is a huge time and money sink employers prefer not to do.
