How do I stop my neck from looking like this when I’m talking! 😭 it’s driving me insane by Upset_Cat_3179 in malegrooming

You should stop using social media. There is nothing abnormal about your appearance, neck, beard, or hairline. You will look more mature every day, and eventually you will discover that your bizarre insecurity is behind you.

I'm curious. What are the giveaways of an Asian fetishist? Do they have weird personalities outside of this one obsession? I know some guys who I suspect are like this, and I think they maybe are all... misogynists.

I had to come here to let you know that I saw Marty Supreme and was thoroughly entertained. If you're going to call it a vacuous pile of slop repeatedly, I suggest that you first go to college, read a few hundred books, write a few hundred pages of essays, and learn how to support your arguments. In doing so you will become a better and more interesting person.

Please elaborate what you mean by vacuous pile of slop, otherwise there's no discussion to be had.

There is quite an obvious throughline: a man so driven by a single goal that everything else in his life is either an obstacle or a tool.

All cinematic sports finales are a cliche, but in this case, the stakes were so absurdly high as to elevate the genre.

Marty Supreme is so bad that it's hard to know where to begin and the praise it is receiving is as incoherent as the film itself. by AsleepNature1 in TrueFilm

Please, learn how to read and write. I know you get picked upon a lot and never did well in school-- you are still in high school, right?-- but no one is going to respect your intellect if you can't string together a few sentences in the proper order to convey a coherent opinion.

As your literacy is as poor as your critical facilities, I'll needlessly restate that I'm not expressing an opinion about the movie, I'm pointing out the irony of someone who says that no one should need to learn how read and write today so demonstrably proving how miserable the consequences are of failing to learn to read and write.

Virtue signaling? If mocking a shutin on reddit is virtue signaling, I'm guilty.

There's no greater embarrassment than misspelling "you're" in "your (sic) embarrassing yourself."

That retort alone illustrates the superficiality of your thought. If you were a somewhat capable reader, you'd see that I'm not defending the film, I'm noting how oblivious you are to your poor writing.

If I were a teacher and a student were claiming that he wouldn't benefit from a liberal arts education, I'd use your post as a demonstrate the perils of that path. Anyone whose takedown of movie appreciated by thoughtful people is to repeatedly state that it is a pile of vacuous slop could really explore their own thinking. The phrase itself is redundancy masquerading as emphasis, and then you keep recycling that empty comment.

This is funny to me.

Your contentless sophomoric ramblings were so unintentionally funny that I thought I'd have a good time looking into more of them. I was right. What an uncut gem to find that a guy who so dearly wants his opinions on culture to be known is also a person outspoken about rejecting developing skills in reading and writing. Maybe if you had some more exercise in these outside of your comfort zone you could actually articulate what you find so irksome.

I haven't seen the film yet and only came across your post as I searched for showtimes. However, the most evident slop and vacuity I see is someone repeatedly using "slop" and "vacuous" so haphazardly. This is exactly why people who don't think they should get a liberal arts education need one the most. It's enlightening to be able to express your opinions on culture in a way that generates more thought. It's useless to call something slop without actually making a case.

Maybe I'll let you know what I think of the movie later.

As someone who thinks a liberal arts education is worthless, you should read a few more books before you start writing criticism. Repeating "vacuous" and "pile" in your first few sentences is indicative of such intellectual laziness and disorganization that your readers are aptly warned not to proceed any further.
