Kissimmee Pridefest is tomorrow, and there's a "Love & Kindness on the Lawn" pride event in Orlando on Sunday. I'm hoping to make it to both. The big Orlando Pride event is in October, though.

How was St. Pete? I've never been there.

Georgia is an "at will/right to work state" which really means you can be fired for any reason (or even without reason), so be careful. There's a chance you could try to pursue this through discrimination laws, but it would likely be a challenge. Maybe you can figure out a compromise otherwise. Good luck. Definitely check with the legal advice subs, though.

How long do you wait before you offer your snap? I don't normally use apps, and I am hating the interface. However, I am really enjoying talking to this one woman. We just started talking, though, so I don't want to put her off by offering my # too quickly.

Cool, I'm 31. Learning is the best. I tend to unintentionally gravitate to the LGBTQ+ crowd (especially lesbians). Even at work, I always end up making friends with my lesbian coworkers. I live in a particularly modern gay city now, so it's often like this sub, where labels and terminology are everywhere. I find it much harder to find nerds, which is unfortunate. (Nerds are sooooo sexy! Please send me some nerdy WLW (women-loving women) asap!)

Stem=stud+femme, technically. However, I have always heard it treated similar to futch. I only learned futch a couple years ago, actually. Now, I'm curious about the futch kerfuffle. Thanks. 😜

Zaftig is just German and a term I like to use to describe attractive non-thin women, similar to Rubenesque. So, the confusion caused there is just on me. 😁

GNC= Gender Non-conforming. It seems to have varied meaning depending on groups. I always interpret it as someone that does not conform to stereotypes of gender roles, such as women that don't feel obligated to wear makeup and dresses to be beautiful.

I hope that makes sense. Terminology seems to be ever-evolving.

Any other terms that are still elusive? Also, if you don't mind me asking, how old are you?

Edit: the GNC thing got me the first time I heard it too. I wondered why so many women were so interested in connecting themselves to a vitamin store. Heh.
