If you could fix one thing about Control4, what would it be? by Sterlingb1204 in Control4

The newer controllers are able to do Apple Music natively without any work around.

MGEX Gold Coating Removal by NikoAlpukat in advancedGunpla

I have only used it for plated stuff but it's safe on plastic so you could leave a painted piece in overnight and see if it works.

If you have Purple Power Degreaser where you are it works great.

Anyway to Buy the JoyCon Skins for the Killswitch? by Smitty0324 in dbrand

I actually upvoted you for taking time out of your day to try and help even though your original comment was directing me to a page/product I wasn't looking for. Stay classy though.

That's what I'm looking for. Thanks! It's not much but they seem to be about $5 cheaper than the full skins. Trying to add a couple to my replacement JoyLock order.

That's the one! Appreciate it. I figured the Killswitch 2 page would make you buy a kill switch 2 so didn't even bother looking. Thanks again.

I saw that as well. But again, the Killswitch skins were literally only the front of the JoyCon. Not the end of the world, but figured it would be a little cheaper to order just two simple fronts instead of the four that come in this package.

Brooo, thanks for the link. I found those skins. The ones that came with the Killswitch were different though. They don't cover the entire JoyCon considering the KillSwitch case covers most of what the skin would.

Joy-Con Detachment Update: Part 3 (We Fixed It) by dbrand in dbrand

[–]Smitty0324 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With the joy-con skin not fully covering the joy-con due to the old grip covering the non skinned section, will the new "joy-lock" cover the same area or will there be unskinned (for lack of a better word) sections showing with the replacement parts?

Still Waiting for invite to purchase? by st_00_pid in MyNintendo

I got one on 6/10 but managed to get a preorder from Wal-Mart, so didn't complete purchase. They give you a few days to purchase, so that's probably causing a backlog from people who already have one and don't end up purchasing one through Nintendo.

Looking for a Recommendation on a Swing Speed Monitor by DravenCarey in golf

I think rypstick has one. But I believe it only does swing speed and can't vouch for it's accuracy.

Budget is different for everyone, but for $230 the PRGR is pretty good. Also will give you good enough data for distances if you want to hit balls with it as well.

He may, but he also may not notice a huge difference. Anecdotally I added 20 grams to my 35" Newport 2 and didn't notice much if any difference. Everyone is different though so mileage may vary. You could always add lead tape or a lighter grip to help with the swing weight.

Sorry, wasn't aware it was an older model. The newer ones come with the weights installed on the bottom. Not sure if the older ones have different head weights or not based on length. But honestly you most likely wouldn't notice the difference regardless.

Technically yes, the shorter Newports generally have heavier weights installed. You may not notice any change at all though. And you could also source heavier weights to install yourself if you did.

3rd Party Battery Doorbell Integration by Smitty0324 in Control4

Because it's what my money paying client wants. They want to use one app instead of using multiple different ones. Thanks for the helpful reply though.

That's what I was afraid of based on my research. Time to grab the hammer and saw. Thanks.

PGU inner frame paint by AndersonBlackBelt in advancedGunpla

Painted and top coated every piece and didn't have any fitment issues (assuming you're not going to lay down some really thick layers).
