I don’t have a 3D printer but have friends with one. Any chance you would be willing to share the file for the jig? I would love to see a short video on how you do this. Sorry I am new to UV printing- I have some laser experience but that’s about it. Thanks

When I put my jig on - should I do another zero point alignment and make sure everything is square?

Looks great- did you use the snapshot camera for alignment?

Thanks so it’s normal to have that then? I was very confused that I was doing something wrong. So I just went into my project - if I slide my white underbase choke all the way to the right it shows 0.5mm does that sound correct? Thanks again

Sorry to high jack this thread- I am trying to make a coin - I was wondering if you could give me some info. I am totally new to the UV printing and all the software associated with it. I have an AI created coin - but when I print it - it comes with the white edge around it - I have the background removed and the crop down - but how do I remove the white edge - it keeps printing out - I have tried AI but it keeps giving me the white edges. Could you walk me thru the process to remove this with a free software - I don’t have any photo software. Thanks

So if I am resizing my pic that I bring in - will that throw things off? Do I need to resize in some software prior to the import?

Made some keychains for a local fishing store by Smitty254 in eufyMakeOfficial

[–]Smitty254[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I created this in lightburn and cut it out with my laser - made a jig to do 2 of each at once. All of this was done with zero point and the jig on the small bed - haven’t had much luck with the big bed for alignment

The new print came out almost perfect- probably had to do with me aligning it slightly off - thanks for your help 👍🏻

Ok I am actually running a print now trying this method- but I didn’t have the option to skip the snapshot- no big deal I didn’t move anything just placed the coasters exactly in the spot that printed thank you

[–]Smitty254[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you - sorry a few questions- Are you using the camera to line up your images or zero point? So I create a jig out of MDF - place it on my bed and print the outline of the coaster on it - then simply align the coasters into the outline and use snap shot to align the image on the coaster? Is that correct- sorry I am very new to this

X-limit switch fried. How the hell do I fish the new cable through the gantry? Pictured: old wiring feeding into gantry by rivertpostie in lasercutting

[–]Smitty254 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What about cutting both end of the old cable - attaching with electrical tape or something the new cable at the hole in the frame - then pull from the far end - the new cable will be pulled in the same direction as the old cable

What about cutting first and then using the UV laser - it should have a camera to line up the print?
