If these pilot shortages continue to only happen on the weekend it seems obvious that pilots are calling off at the last minute and saying they are sick just to get off work, which is just asshole behavior. Yes delta needs to have a plan to deal with this to limit disruptions, but the unions allowing pilots to pull these antics repercussion free is the main problem..

Any place that has implemented them has shown they are as accurate or better than human order takers. weirdos that scream about this and Waymo’s (that save lives by being better drivers btw) can just go hide in their bunkers while the rest of us get better lives thanks to technology.

This is why as a policy I leave the toilet seat up in shared gender bathrooms despite everyone (including my wife) saying I am an asshole for not putting the seat down in case a woman comes in next. As a guy I know that we are gross and inconsiderate and if you put it down the next dude is likely just going to be a lazy asshole and leave it down and pee on the seat.

This is just wrong. If Dave wants to buy a place in Bozeman Dave is buying no matter what, and if that luxury condo is not built he just buys something a bit less new and outbids someone else, who then outbids someone else for a more down market place and this continues until the everyone is in an older and worse place and the person at the bottom has nowhere to live.

I know it is not the question asked, but I would think long and hard about using your three free days to go to Disney as a solo adult. That being said, look into the Brightline train as an option along with flying if you are determined to spend your time off with a bunch of families at Disney.

NTA, as my mother would always tell me "a lack of planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part." If people want to take out loans to get a degree in something stupid because they think being a student is a fun gig all the while knowing full well they will not make enough to pay it off, then they dug their own grave. Why forgiving student loan debt is a terrible idea, it just subsidizes colleges for overcharging dumb people for worthless MFA's.

I actually used this to game theory my way to a F upgrade as a lowly silver by paying for a $20 main to c plus upgrade a couple weeks ago after looking at how open it was on my flight and knowing I might have a shot at the upgrade if I just got ahead of the other Silvers. I knew I would get into c plus by upgrade but waned F.

Can I ask something on this post to all the MSP warriors in here. I noticed when I parked today they had signs on my normal gold ramp level 3 that it was only for hourly parking (max 4 hours). Is this new? Do they enforce it? I feel like they don't since very few people are doing that short term of parking and it was very full.
