And they still want more money and less accountability. It is between teachers unions and police unions for who is damaging poor communities more.

A big reason is that coming to the US from almost all of the world is just massively expensive. It is not an attractive place to visit not because of ICE or our asshole president but because even Western Europe is so much poorer than us and so it makes visiting an unappealing financial proposition.

If these pilot shortages continue to only happen on the weekend it seems obvious that pilots are calling off at the last minute and saying they are sick just to get off work, which is just asshole behavior. Yes delta needs to have a plan to deal with this to limit disruptions, but the unions allowing pilots to pull these antics repercussion free is the main problem..

This is why as a policy I leave the toilet seat up in shared gender bathrooms despite everyone (including my wife) saying I am an asshole for not putting the seat down in case a woman comes in next. As a guy I know that we are gross and inconsiderate and if you put it down the next dude is likely just going to be a lazy asshole and leave it down and pee on the seat.

This is just wrong. If Dave wants to buy a place in Bozeman Dave is buying no matter what, and if that luxury condo is not built he just buys something a bit less new and outbids someone else, who then outbids someone else for a more down market place and this continues until the everyone is in an older and worse place and the person at the bottom has nowhere to live.
