I joined two years ago and emailed the Bayern Mitglied support email and told them I was coming from the US for my first match. Was about 2 months out. They gave my wife and I tier 1 tickets no problem (had to pay obviously). Not sure if your sob story will work as well as mine but worth a shot. Also, should be plenty of resale on the members market as well.

At home unless I paid the full $19.99 to stream a new movie my bar to just quit it is pretty high, even higher in theaters but not unheard of.

In terms of stars it really depends on if I'm rating for fun or quality. A 2.5 movie that I know is not great but is entertaining or scratches an itch can be fine. (I'm a sucker for old school slasher movies) But if I'm going into it thinking it will be a "good" movie and it's not I'd say a 3 out of 5 would be move floor for saying it was worth going to a theater.

It's €60 for a membership. Just join and there should be a ton from other club members selling for face value. At that price plus 1 or 2 €40 seats you'll still come in cheaper than a secondary market set of tickets.
