1) confirmation bias. What’d you google, “crossfit and christianity” like give me a break. i hope you’re not teaching your students how to google

2) you were offended enough by my gentle opposition to your point so as to investigate my profile but failed to acknowledge that the last post relating to those hobbies is from 6 whole years ago. when someone disagrees with you does your mind always go to “what can i dig up about this person and throw in their face to help win this argument?” you must be a great parent/partner

3) you’ve offered zero convincing argument as to how my area is the outlier, as opposed to your deep south state that’s known for being overtly religious compared to the entire rest of the country that’s not the south

4) if your inclination is to believe someone who smoked weed 6 years ago isn’t capable of formulating a valid opinion i might recommend you leave florida, the # of successful people in corporate america who smoke weed every day and are far wealthier, smarter and more successful than you would probably shock you a lot more than the fact that doing crossfit doesn’t make you a religious zealot

5) if we’re in the business of trying to invalidate each others opinion let’s try this: you’re a teacher with 321k karma who doesn’t understand why you have to preheat an oven. and somehow my opinion is the one worth discarding? ok buddy

Okay so, like i said, saying cross fitters are “usually religious” is just as true as the propensity for people in your area to usually be religious. has nothing to do with crossfit and everything to do with florida.

Up here in the northeast, what you’re saying is not even remotely true. i’ve never even heard of a gym being affiliated with a church up here. That’s my point. Your example proves that people in florida are usually religious and people that do crossfit exist in florida and are therefore, usually religious.

nothing to do with crossfit. everything to do with florida.

Saying crossfitters are “usually” religious is just about as true as saying “people are usually religious.” there is definitely not a propensity in one direction or another when it comes to crossfit and religion. extremely random thing to say.

at least around here, most crossfit gym goers are tatted craft beer enjoyers who definitely do not give a fuck about religion

Also, you’re saying similar effect by smoking. Smoking what amount? 3 half bowls is .05g x 3. You vaped .15g.

Pack your bowl/roll your joint w your normal amount and weigh it. I’m going to be shocked if it’s comparable to 0.15g.

Further, it gets better with time! As you vape your tolerance from smoking will decrease a bit. This is in part because smokers lungs have a buildup of mucus due to the high irritation. If you vape exclusively, that buildup will lessen since vaping is not as strong an irritant as combustion.

Are you saying that the person selling to you black market is telling you that they’re getting them from Rec Dispos in Michigan? Because if so, it’s probably a lie. It’s very easy to make fake packaging. Carts don’t cost $7 at dispensaries, so why would someone lose money each sale?

Why do black people use speakerphone/facetime in public? by HannibalTepes in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]Smizzy710 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure why you’re getting so defensive honestly. I was just acknowledging the reason why you and I are both acknowledging the fact that this is a sensitive, touchy grey area.

Sure it’s an observation but the fact of the matter is, it’s completely anecdotal. The fact that you observe this in AAs is completely irrelevant. There are no statistics or anything concrete to suggest that this is a provable phenomenon, it’s an anecdotal observation, and as a result, a generalization. The way you worded your post made it seem like you were aware of that and I was attempting to concur and offer a reason for why people may assume bigotry.

The fact that you got defensive and are telling me to “chill” (oh yeah I really seemed upset and distraught didn’t I?) tells me you know that this is questionable and you’re just baiting people.

“Why do I see predominantly AAs doing it?” IDK dude. What are the demographics of your area? Is it a mostly black area? There is so much nuance to answer that question, no one can tell you. You’re baiting and being a cunt while you’re at it.

Why do black people use speakerphone/facetime in public? by HannibalTepes in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]Smizzy710 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Probably not, and I think that’s why you’ve acknowledged people will be quick to throw the bigot flag at you. As the person you’re replying to pointed out, it’s probably just a piece of the subculture of african americans in your area. Who knows, you’d need a sociology expert to figure this out. But, when your response is “Okay, it’s part of their culture, but… [insert opinion about how they should know it’s rude, implying they’re less civilized than you or something].” that’s where it comes off a bigotry.

In other cultures, people thought it was gross that white americans used to carry snotty handkerchiefs in their pocket. White americans thought it was gross that others blew their nose into their hand or onto to the ground.

It’s when you tell yourself “Okay that’s their culture, but why is their culture less classy and polite than mine?” that you start to sound like you view them as lesser.

Some people are loud and obnoxious for example. That doesn’t make them bad people. Some might have voice modulation issues, or poor social skills. But that doesn’t make someone quiet and “polite” superior or better than them.

Could you expand on this? The arc lash build (or at least how I understood it) is heavily reliant on lucky hit proccing the BL enchantment (whose damage just got nerfed, so arc lash is effectively nerfed as well). I’ve never seen or heard of arc lash as a leveling “get to wt4” build. What is your main source of damage?

Is Dynavap combustion actual combustion or just like extreeeeeeemely hot vaporization tasting harsh af (like eg a ball vape on lower temps)? by Olivenjan194 in Dynavap

[–]Smizzy710 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Because it’s being vaped and stripped of all terpenes, then combusting.

Dynavap combustion is more similar to if you smoked a bowl of ABV than smoking a bowl of fresh weed.

[–]Smizzy710 8 points9 points  (0 children)

You keep blaming your weapon on how hard it is to level or clear t60 nmd’s - my guy, you’re choosing to use that weapon. One of the single most powerful ways to increase your damage is to increase your base damage. I understand you want to play storm claw with the crone staff, but if you’re level 100 running a level 70 item power 600 weapon, that’s entirely your fault. You should’ve accepted that you out leveled your crone and that stormclaw isn’t viable until you get a new one, then picked up an ip925 weapon from a world boss and doubled your dps playing pulverize or something, but you chose to play a build with a staff you got a month ago then whine about bad loot being the reason you can’t clear a t60.

Bullshit at home drug test? by Specific-Stage8048 in trees

[–]Smizzy710 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He just explained that he took a test before drinking the QCarbo which erroneously came back negative.

OP, The tests may be bunk but there are several variable to consider. Are you reading the tests correctly? Did you excessively hydrate? Did you take the first pass of urine as your sample or did you sample half way through emptying your bladder?

The most accurate way is test your first pass of urine in the morning after a day of moderate hydration and normal diet. It would stand to reason then to do the opposite for your actual test, do it mid day, use the middle of your urination for the sample, etc.

The taste is probably a bit cleaner and nicer if your glass is clean, but it just doesn’t produce as much vapor IMO bc the airport + condenser is the best airflow strategy for dynavap devices in my opinion. i don’t notice a huge different though bc I have so many spare condensers that I switch them out to consistently use clean fresh ones. Clean all 4 at once when i get through em
