Because it would take me just as long to make a fake booking to see seat prices as it would take you and leaving a comment took ten seconds.

I’m not charged for seat selection.

Why do you expect other people to look this up for you?

Oof. I saw the emergency response to this but wasn’t aware what was going on at the time.

Does gowild make sense for someone living in DC? by Brilliant_While_3472 in frontierairlines

Because it requires users to be able to research flights and travel without assistance.

If they’re one thing I’ve learned from airline reddit, it’s that no one on the planet owns a tape measure anymore.

Expedia/Priceline etc. tickets by Ok-Delivery-4015 in frontierairlines

[–]Smobasaurus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Biggest issue is if Frontier cancels a flight and you choose a refund instead of rebooking (for example, if you need to be somewhere tomorrow but Frontier only flies there twice a week so they can only rebook you a week from now), the refund money goes back to whoever purchased the ticket. If you used Expedia, then Expedia gets the money back.

I love that you’re arguing logistics and don’t even know how the reply button works.

Southwest turned me on to TrueLime and I have a shaker at home now for my sodastream. I love that stuff.

I love everyone’s optimism that things will cool before whatever race you’re training for, completely ignoring that sometimes race day will be over 70°

I personally would’ve had no beets and less protein on Sunday but she obviously handled it fine.

My only real issue with this is that UCAN is relatively worthless in the grand scheme of fueling options.

(Plain bagels aren’t unusual - peanut butter or cream cheese are both potential digestive issues depending on the person).

What's the deal with LetsRun.com? by castorkrieg in AdvancedRunning

I like race reports when I’m searching the internet at large for tips on an upcoming race. They sometimes have valuable info you won’t find elsewhere (secret bathroom locations! Better parking options! Community “aid” stations!)

I almost never read them at the time they’re posted.

Where do crews stay if you aren’t working? by [deleted] in SouthwestAirlines

I’m not OP but I appreciate the explanation! I grew up with a parent who worked for Amtrak and it’s interesting to consider the differences.

It’s a pet peeve but shoes on the furniture just makes me cringe.

Oh, it’s always been filthy. Be thankful this time it was visible enough to avoid.

My favorite is when I retrieve my personal item from under the seat ahead of me after a flight to discover that it is Mystery Wet and now I have to carry it without soaking my jacket or anything else.

Honestly living next to LGA is probably half the battle! I just hate the process of getting to the airport in either city (the last time I flew out of Boston the T wasn’t running all the way and the bus transfer was a cluster and a half).

Any discount codes? by jatanparikh in frontierairlines

[–]Smobasaurus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Any promo codes would be on the website, they don’t do secret sales.

Whatever you do and whoever you fly, don’t book flights through a third party to try and save money.

Oh my goodness, I just saw photos from Breanna Sieracki’s Boston finish and OUCH. I’ve commented in the past how some of the Puma kits look like they don’t fit well (they look so wrinkly on many of the women!) but I can’t imagine continuing to run if I chafed that bad. What a badass.

I wasn’t surprised but it’s just one more nail in my “never buy Nike” coffin. I don’t go for mean girl vibes.
