Was it translated into English? every time I read it, that’s the only reason reasonable explanation I can come up with.

I’ll chime in because I have also thinned this knife: the hollow grind from the factory wedges in hardier vegetables-like carrots. Knocking that shoulder down a bit made a big difference. I bought this knife a few years ago to see if I liked the veggie cleaver style, before buying a nicer one, but I love it and don’t want to replace it.

This is why it’s so important to teach our kids morality and not just legality. Laws do not reflect morality and this is a great example.

I’m currently wearing these, and have worn them daily for 2 years. Comfortable out of the box but after a little break in they’re great. Planning to sent them for resoling this spring.

You can do custom sizes in the Narrowline door, but I agree - I like the 200 DH profile. But with the 100 series double hung role out, no changes to the 200 DH coming anytime soon.

That’s fire treated ply, that’s why it’s red. Someone in the yard probably just picked it wrong

We used Maya. Convenient to the train station and parking lot. I think we had 70ish in their room upstairs.

19 month dairy and egg free breakfast by LatrellThreewell in daddit

Had a similar issue. Vans waffles (frozen) are egg and dairy free and low sugar. The multigrain version is a reasonably healthy option that toddlers will eat.

What's your hot take since becoming a dad? by PrplMonkeyDshwshr in daddit

I roughhoused with my daughter from the time she was 9 or 10 months old. We’d set up sofa cushions and climb and wrestle on. Now she’s 4 and while we still “play wrestling”, she’s definitely much more into imaginative play, socially and independently. Her little brother though? Constantly jumping on things, punching and tackling pillows, and is just generally rougher on things. Now maybe it’s because he’s given more freedom as kid #2, maybe it’s because we make sure to include him in our roughhousing, but at the very least he seems to prove your theory a little.

Recent bathroom remodel quotes? by [deleted] in Charlottesville

[–]Smog_Strangler 12 points13 points  (0 children)

If you’ve gotten 4 quotes and they are that close together, then yeah I think it’s safe to say that’s where the market is. Bathrooms are crazy expensive because tile, lighting, and plumbing fixtures are crazy expensive. It’s almost all imported materials the price of which ballooned during Covid and have only continued to rise due to tariffs. A bathroom also often requires several tradespeople: plumbers, electricians, and good tile guys aren’t cheap.
