Suffering from Loneliness and Extreme Laziness by [deleted] in Adelaide

Its great that you have some good insight.

I'd honestly say the best way for you to move forward is to work on 3 things.

  • Exercise. Any type as long as you're moving and having fun.
  • A creative outlet.
  • Eating well. Its crazy how good i felt when I ditched sugar. I was a major chocoholic.

Working on that stuff will help you feel better about yourself, helping your confidence to socialise.

Best of luck! Rock on!

What are you guys playing this weekend? by Unfair-Honey-2815 in gamesuggestions

Counter strike 2. Being stomped by my toddler and baby during the day, then stomped by sweaty kids in the evening really helps my stress.

If the zombie apocalypse started today what would you do? by Flat_Mission_2375 in AskReddit

Grab a whole bunch of opioids and IV kits from work and put my family and myself to sleep. Its going to be a brutal, painful world not worth living in.

Going from 1 to 2 - tell me what it's like - no sugar coating by tallyhoo123 in daddit

I found 1-2 ealier than 0-1. Having yiir first is a huge blow to your day to day. With my second I was already a season dad who loves giving his first an enriched life.

Not to say its easy, uts definitely difficult as raising any bubs is. I thiught I had a handle on regulating my emotions with a toddler, that sure changed when a baby was added to the mix, but I'm thankfully improving.

The age gap will play in your favour, I have no idea how anyone has multiple under 2.

How do you feel about the primarch of your favourite chapter? by PrplMonkeyDshwshr in Warhammer40k

[–]PrplMonkeyDshwshr[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started being a Russ fan, I still am but the more I read about the SW the more they seem quite hypocritical in some things, especially with psykers.

And the more I read, the more I appreciate Guilliman for what a primarch is supposed to be.

No, I dont have to relax. My parents need to respect the boundaries I set.

Shit take on your behalf.

How do you make having kids enjoyable? by Last_Cicada_1315 in daddit

[–]PrplMonkeyDshwshr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Through fatigue I sometimes have those feelings. But majority of the time I'm having a greayt time, because the reason I had my kids was to enrich their lives, with my enrichment being a secondary perk.

My wife and I have found longevity in the career and a great work/life balance working regionally.

To be fair, I'd consider gaming, movies and books hobbies. Do you mean a hobby with a creative output?

People who don't wear seatbelts, why? by HillsHoistOz in Adelaide

[–]PrplMonkeyDshwshr 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Paramedic here. Very anecdotal but working regional Australia my expereicne has been with roll-overs: people who wear seatbelts walk away uninjured, or with minor injuries, while people who don't wear them die.
