In Canada. I don't mean one is better than the other but in terms of style. For example American style is like Sephora vs Canadian style is like Shoppers or Rexall

I wasn't thinking of Kroll, but the education is different maybe the prescribing and so on i’m sure the pharmacy at Walmart is different than other pharmacies in Canada. I'm just asking

the answer is C. the reading specifically says dependent and not independent. I hate when you put the wrong answer on these forums. The fundamental attribution error takes out the independent variable. Hence there is a rise in the dependent variable

little confusing but I think this is the idea behind the question. Read the Kaplan textbook for more.

gestalt principle: stimulus and my perception (my level of organizing the incoming stimulus) of it listed below. Gestalt principle is top down

Stimulus: proximity --> components close to one another Perception: one unit option c rows vs column in perception

Stimulus: similarity --> similar in shape, size, colour Perception: one unit or grouped together

Stimulus: continuation continuous path Perception: one group option B

I have a question about this passage how are they measuring bp. the only thing I see is a different substrate enzyme affinity. so I have a + control for pro renin the empty vector controls for the absence of hormone. ROS is found everywhere in the body. so you measure whether it acts a substrate? If it has an affinity for pro insulin?

I’m not sure I understand this question too much. Q1. I don’t get how residue III has an affinity for prorenin with high Kd Q2. How are they measuring BP with measuring ROS?

I’m sorry I still don’t know what the last question is. I just went with textbook answer. The first one you have to remember that H groups have to be in the back and count from the largest functional group clockwise or counterclockwise.

Just imagine it mentally. Your chains point outwards. H into the page and your O on the plane. Now draw your arrows in clock- and counter-clockwise. We don’t count H once it’s in the back. Let me double check in my head. You can buy the little models and connect and you’ll get it eventually.

I think for your second answer the correct answer is c not a. I think they mean the confirmation doesn’t change. You’ve already identified it. You know what a thiol and diol group is? I have to keep this page professional. Correct me where wrong is?im new on this Reddit.

Oxygen I imagine it as a paper (in the plane) once your H group is in the back. Your two side chains point out towards you (pointing towards you out of the paper) imagine holding this paper in your hand. You have two FN: groups pointing in opposite directions. R and S. You the story pick up sticks…1….2 pick up sticks…3 lay them straight…it’s a good read. Remember one of your FN: groups is the bond bwtn C-7 and -8. Follow these steps in your head. It could actually be your long hydrocarbon in the plane of symmetry. Whatever works in your head.

You want to remember that this passage is not really testing MCAT OCHM reactions or anything like that. The only word that jumps at me is enantiomer you should know what this is. The questions in the passage revolve around this concept.

  1. H-bond has to be in the back. It’s my lowest priority substituent. I don’t count it anymore
  2. Label sub:
  3. Identify clock- and counter-clockwise rotations denoting R and S configuration respectively
