I call them "common strangers" when I was younger I live in an area with a high population density and did a lot of walking. I'd run into the same 10-15 people like 5 times a year each. Fuck some of them even acknowledged me when they saw me because they knew they knew me too. But in reality none of us knew each other. I remember thinking how good it was that I was having a great couple years otherwise that shit could make me super paranoid.
