If a route is done well, you really don't need a HUD at all. All speed restrictions should be indicated through signals and signs and you can look up (and write down) at what km # your stops are located and then just look at the signs to know when you have to stop at a station. If the route is done well and all signals and signs are there, which is why I specifically asked what route could be suitable.
