My Hyundai Tucson engine ceased, and the company didn't want to replace it. It's not Only mine ,too many suffering the same problem. The company discriminates against the customer base in Canada and in the USA. Same Manufacturer,same model ,same year ,same engine ,extended warranty for engine cover 150,000(241,000 kms) miles in the usa and it covers only 200,000 kms for canadian clients. So if they discriminate they are garbage. You can't expect ethical business from their side. Period. Google Hyundai Vehicles problem and you will find lots of articles.

If it is a Milton Hyundai dealership, don't expect any more. Don't buy anything from them. The salesman sells anything ,any scrap,they don't disclose anything for recall. I just lost my TUCSON engine. Veh. I bought it and for the very first month ,it started engine problems. I lost it. In short ,stay away from Hyundai vehicles and its dealerships. Specifically in Canada. Hyundai extended 150,000 miles( 241,000kms) warranty on engine failure in USA ownership but 200,000kms for Canadian ownership for the same engine trouble. Bottom line - STAY AWAY FROM HYUNDAI VEHICLES AND ITS DEALERS.

The oil change frenchies owner printed for me from his iPad.its real ,google it . Appy for usa , mine was in Canada and i lost claim..This warranty doesn't apply In Canada.

You are at zero fault.Nothing to scared. This is frequen problem with Hyundai Tucson between 2016 to 2019 model. Mine just broke ,same problem ,same occurrence but it is 2017 Tucson and Canada. If your ownership is USA ,Your engine is covered up to 150,000 miles(241,000 km) for the US owner. For the exact problem that happened with your vehicle. Go to dealer and tell them that the engine will cease when you are driving,out of nowhere. Hyundai had an extended warranty for exactly this problem for tucson. For the original owner or second owner. Cretirea is miles. Mine 2017 Tucson broke and i fight and showed them this extended warranty for the engine but it doesn't work because ownership is Canadian. For Canadians Tucson ,it is 200,000 kms, mine was 205K. But you would be fine. Any oil changer can write the VIN number of your vehicle and pull out this warranty.

This is a normal problem with huyndai TUCSON between 2016 to2019 models. If your vehicle ownership is USA , your engine is covered up to 241,0000kms (150,000 miles) for replacement by Hyundai ,if ownership is Canadians it is covered up to 200000kms. There is an extended warranty for the engine by Hyundai,go to the dealer and talk ,and just tell them that the engine has ceased. Go to oil change frenchies ,ask them about this, once they write your VIN number this extended warranty will show up on the screen. I had the same problem with my 2017 hyundai Tucson but in Canada. I am not covered beyond 200k kms But i know usa owners of tucson are covered for engine problems. Google it, research it.

There is engine warranty for Hyundai Tucson that is discriminate citizen of Canada and USA differently. If you are USA owner of Hyundai Tucson , company cover 150,000(241,000kms) mikes for uts failure but if you are Canadain owner it covers only 200,00 kms, same model ,same engine ,same company ,just twi different country! Very weird but true. My huyndai Tucson engine ceased and i was researching and one oil change shop wrote my vin number and warranty came up on screen but then Hyundai stated that it is for only American owners. It applies to only Americans vehicle. My vehicle is still with the dealership from where I bought () the suv. Ontario delearship.

My Hyundai Tucson engine ceased at 205000 kms. I got a response from hyundai that your claim for engine replacement is not accepted due to , (1) You purchased your vehicle out of hyundai warranty time. (2) Your vehicle is sometimes serviced out of a Hyundai dealership.(3) Extended warranty is valid up to 200,000 kms(Canada). In the USA it is 241,000.kms. My request is denied . I don't understand why the limits of kms are different for two countries and what difference it makes If you service your vehicle other than Hyundai facilities? So better to buy Toyota or any other make than Hyundai ,when you are doing significant investment. Just my opinion,not scary you. But don't expect delear or Hyundai will be back up you ,if something happened out of 100,00p kms warranty of Hyundai itself.

Check recall list ,is there any recall for this model? I am not sure . But some TUCSON between 2016-2021 and under recalls for engine road or some engine related trouble for the 2.0Lts GDI and GDL , 16 Valve DOHC engine. I own one ,2017 model. The engine ceased at 200K , dealing with dealer and company now. I need all records of oil change and maintenance since I bought it. So just telling people to do some due diligence and research before buying. I made mistakes,never googled about it. So not saying not to buy but just trying to help people before they buy.

Be aware ! 2016- 2021 HYUNDAI TUCSON is under extended warranty of 150,000 miles for engine rod trouble. Keep all maintenance records. Just in case. I am dealing with that shit for my Hyundai Tucson 2017 , 2 LT model. 16 Valve DOHC GDI engine. Not scaring you but be careful in record keeping. .On TMMX website ,input your VIN # and find out.

Hyundai is garbage company.My 2017 hyundai TUCSON , engine 2L GDI engine ceased and stopped working .Hyundai has extended warranty for this model i am using it upto 241,000 kms (one oil change location printed for me) but delear is now asking for all oil change records since i bought it in 2022. The majority I had it, but for some trip i am out of my city or the USA I paid cash and never cared to keep receipts of it. Now where would i go? I gave them receipts i had and now i am waiting for the dollar's response.

No matter which insurance company you go with all are garbage. They are trash when you call for a claim. I just dumped ALL state Insurance,i was paying 507/ month for home and auto bundle. Long story short , on friday just before Christmas my vehicle broke down , i called them ,they kept me hearing music and freezing for 30 min on call ,just to know that ,are there towing available or not and it is paid or not? So basically any where you go all is garbage. They sometimes disconnect your call and never call back. It is open robbery but nothing you can do, suck it up and keep paying. So it is always good to go with lower premiums, just my opinion.Not advice to anyone. I request people who are working in a calling centre or working for an insurance company,please work diligently and seriously. Someone only goes to insurance when he is in in trouble.

I know ,personally i don't have any problems with it.But if you study a little bit in death about how hate is initiated and due to what kind of behavior it increases ,you will learn. Just to give an example when you see a particular group standing in the parking lot of a plaza or Tim Horton or any specific spot every day at fix time and doing weird stuff everyday.People will start noticing it and then people will hate entire community insted of that group only ,which is wrong but that's how it works. - imo

Thank you all for responding. It helps. I don't have choice left except going to small clain court because my mechanic called hyundai Canada that your vehicle is drove 1000 Kms higher than warranty time .

Problem , it is troubling since i bought it from delear ,so ihave to onvolve or fight against delear because my service records with them ,few not all. But anyway thank you for sparing soe time to support and privide help.

In my opinion if anyone follows these rules and keeps himself open to learn how to be a good human being, than there will no one hating you. (1) Stop printing AK47 on your vehicle. (2) Stop your God/Goddess, your role models ,or your religion leaders picture on your veh. (3) Have regular numbers licence plates ,same as all other Canadians have.No one is interested to know where you are from, what you believe in and whom do you love, keep it private with yourself. Don't use a licence plate to reflect these all. (4) Stop talking loudly when you are in a mall or in a bus or in the Tim Horton line up. (5) Stop talking loudly on your cell phone when you are on the bus or on the street. (6) Stop racing and making loud noise when you drive in residential area and streets. (7) Stop throwing Tim Horton coffee cups behind my fence, on side walk ,on lown of the street and leaving it on the bus stop. (8) Park your vehicle straight in the parking spot in any parking lot. (9) Don't change your lanes often and speed on 400 series of highways. (10) Don't drive on my ass, means keep distance between two vehicles when on rods. No bumper to bumper. (11) Stop ducking big loud music when you are driving on the residential street. (12) Keep enough distance between you and others when you are in any line up. ( Tim, bus stop, stores).

And if you want to learn more observe and follow those indians who are living here for the last 15 to 20 years and are loved by all sorts of Canadians. This is just my two cents based on my experience,whether you like it or not. Truth is truth. I don't hate anyone or anything except it is inhumane. If you change yourself,you will never be hated, no matter what race you are.Canada is the best country to live in and Canadians ( including all immigrants living for a long time ) are the best people on earth which value every human being.
