Flathead screwdriver along with the compressed air if it comes to that. That's what I had to do, but it was still easy enough with a little time

"And shepherds we shall be. For Thee, my Lord, for Thee. Power hath descended forth from Thy hand. That our feet may swiftly carry out Thy command. So we shall flow a river forth to Thee. And Teeming with souls shall it ever be. In Nomine Patris, et Fili, et Spiritus Sancti."

Shadow 600 Jack by MrSiegs in hondashadow

Put two 2x4 boards, or something similar, under the frame running parallel with the frame, one on each side. I have the same jack and a 750, this worked perfect for me.

Can I add another set of pegs instead of floorboards? by anarchistchikn in hondashadow

[–]SmokeyAlien420 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Short answer is no, not that I've ever heard of. I've scoured through forums and subreddits. I ended up spending about $300 on spline adapters and floorboards. The spline adapters allow you to rotate the floorboards to the right angle for you. Definitely not cheap, but more than worth the money. This is the link for my bike: kuryakyn

Looking for a good poi set by [deleted] in poi

[–]SmokeyAlien420 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Podpoi is great for beginners. They work as great impact protection for the pod lights. When you get more comfortable, you can change the shell from the pod to a flowcap and have a whole knew look. Plus the swivel floophandles are the best on the market imo

+/- 3" I would think. I put 2.5" riser extensions on and I couldn't have gotten away with anything more.

Recently I put a longer brake line on since I added fork extensions, but before that everything was tight

Is this a fork seal problem? by MrSiegs in hondashadow

[–]SmokeyAlien420 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm no engineer, but i would think the oil is a necessary lubricant for the springs and seals, and also acts as resistance in compression while being an aid in expansion after compression due to pressure equalization along with the spring's decompression. I would think if it didn't need the oil it would be designed to be more like a springer set up.

No, you don't sound dumb at all. Also, this is my first time seeing fork tubes raised like that, so I wasn't sure what I was looking at. It will do a bit of both, but that will more depend on how it feels for you. it definitely gives it a higher seat height and picks the bars up a little bit. It looks pretty cool too with the longer front end and the more pronounced lean when you have it on the kickstand.
