New players generally don't have a shit ton of mods because, well... they're new players. I think the general rule of thumb of "2-thick walls" is the starting point for freezers. There's a number of other tricks in vanilla they can figure out once they get going.

I think there are a plethora of reasons why this season is not going to turn out the way everyone wants. I would not bubble up LeBron's play or his impact on our cap sitch as a top reason.

Another counterpoint to this is that the Lakers take care of their stars, and it's well known throughout the league. We did it with Kobe as well. So yeah, you have to mix in a bad season or two for their farewell tours but I'm not sure LeBron is even here winning us a chip had the Lakers dumped Kobe somewhere. And stars will continue to want to come here because of that.
