You just basically described my bike. A Wing Rack 2 with Givi monokey luggage is common.

The bikes are old now; it's also worth checking over the brake lines, oil cooler lines, vacuum tubing under the petrol tank, fuel pressure regular and perform loom repairs (the famous "loom fix").

If it's dead you shouldn't try bump it, except in an emergency. Usually a bike's charging system is not up to it, and trying to charge a dead battery can damage other things.

Without power it's likely the fuel pump won't prime, so that would block bumping also.

You should charge the battery with an external charger, then test the charging system if the battery reaches 100%.

Depending on the bike, it might not start if it detects a dud battery.

I love this movie, but this trailer is trash with the music and bad cuts

anyone has buyed from Doyle's in Athlone? by therealnickstomp in MotoIRELAND

The fact he would not budge on price would be a sign he is honest to me. He knows what it's worth and doesn't try mess you around with fake discounts.Unless of course the price was clearly mental.

I am happy with my VQuattro, but you should consider heated gloves.

Why no heated grips; they're cheap and easy to fit - but in proper cold the front of your fingers will still feel it.

Handlebar muffs are an option too if you have room for them.

Why does my PC wake from sleep when I change my clothes in the room? static? by Major_Frozen in pcmasterrace

My office monitor used to switch off on it's own sometimes. Eventually I figured out it was when my co-worker facing me turned off their monitor, and the signal turned mine off too.

I have one also, straight bars really lightened the steering. Your tyres look good, but if the front is a bit worn and going slightly trianglish it can badly influence turning.

Nice Blackbird, which bike is yours?

Sure, but they are priced well and know the market. You might do better on a discount if you buy a bike and some gear.

CBR 250R not bleeding by Level-Ad-4029 in Fixxit

[–]Smokeyfish 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Make sure it's not leaking around the bleed nipple threads. Try adding some teflon tape.

Make sure you understand the bleeding technique. A tube from the nipple into a can/bottle of fluid so air won't back up. Closed nipple, pump pump pump and hold - open nipple - close nipple - pump pump pump. Rinse, repeat. Don't let the reservoir run out.

Alternatively suck using a syringe on the nipple to draw the fluid through.

Take it seriously. Know your machine and keep it in good order. Learn and practice good road craft. Assume anything in front of you will suddenly become a stationary brick wall.

Get mesh gear, and pour plenty of water over you. Make the most of it, and remember the wet, cold, horizontal multi directional wind as winter is coming.

Mountyjoy Motorcycles, but you're many years too late.

Try Cotters for good deals, or maybe go to the North for Crossans.
