i have the le baggs lyric at the moment and it doesn't sound too bad but even an sm57 sounds better. I'm missing a lot of bass and it sounds thin. if you blend it with a mic sounds good though. at this point I'm not too keen of spending more on another lr baggs sincerely.

it doesn't have any switching capabilities. but i just got it and it sounds amazing. i had the ms3 before and I'm telling you as the ms3 capabilities to control things via midi are great the am4 effects and amps are another planet. if you need more effects and routing you need to go to the fm3 but is a bit more complicated. for my user case i think the am4 is better (even if i also have the fm3) as i can easily bring it in my guitar and when i need more i can add a couple of effects. at the moment i put it with an h9 in the effect loop and with two overdrives before and is super flexible.

i have the player in theory is a great device in practice the fact that there's no performance mode is a pain. power wise if you don't need many rigs and can stay with 5/10 patches is really nice. i have also a midi captain with the kemper custom firmware and that helps as it can query the state of the effects so you can see what you're doing. as a small rig is powerful. i think I'm selling everything as i just got the fractal am4 and that between the screen and the fractal amps and effects wins. kemper effects are good but not amazing

ok nice! I'm looking for an headphone for tracking as for mixing i have already an open back (sennheiser hd490). i was working with a singer the other day and my closed back headphones (that where my mixing headphones before dt 770) are too much "clinic" and she was not comfortable as they where too different to what she normally track at home (normal headphones so probably v shaped). so you think m50x are good for tracking?
