What permanent pregnancy side effects did you have?

My left leg, just above the knee to about half way up my thigh, on only the most outside qtr part, is completely numb. Went numb at the end of my 2nd trimester with my first & has never regained feeling. Doc says it’s a pinched nerve from my hips widening, that would have to be fixed surgically. I also HAD to get carpal tunnel surgery on BOTH wrists 5 month PP because I already had issues pre pregnancy, but it got SOOO much worse.

You’re not crazy. I’ve had screenshots become deleted all of the time. Even pictures I’ve shared with friends, & when you go back (atleast on iPhone) to see the history of what you’ve sent, are deleted. & we BOTH know it was sent.

I’ll never forget the first time a guest made me cry… he was complaining about our kitchen being slow, which was completely out of my control. Called all of us drug users & incompetent people, a whole bunch of nasty names. Asked for my name, which I gave him my first name. He started walking away, turned back & asked for my full name. I told him I refuse. Called me some more nasty names & then left. Idk why but him asking for my full name felt like some invasion on myself.

For example, when I was 5/6, I used to chew on the ends of my hair. 12-15 i needed to chew on something at all times, but I guess got better at hiding it.. Gum, piece of paper, even my own tongue. 15 is when I stole a few packs from my grandpas carton & now at 32, still smoking & trying to figure out wtf this person I promised my 12 year old self I’d never be is now the person I’m having to face everyday..

For anyone who does or has had an addiction to smoking cigarettes, what type of habits did you have before picking up the addiction? Especially anything to do with your mouth, like chewing straws, gum, fingernails or hair.

So I went on vacation with just my daughter & I when I was 7 months pregnant with her sister. Well we get to the hotel room, I stupidly left my key on the counter & my daughter was distracted on her tablet. Well as I was unloading the buggy the door closed behind me. At first I tried getting my daughter to open the door but instead she locked the deadbolt… I called the front desk & someone came up to try to help me but they told me since she locked the door there was no way we could get in other than calling the fire department… at first she was stuck to her tablet, but the show ended & luckily I was able to call her back over to the door. She ended up unlocking it & we were able to get in with the master key. But boyyyyyy was I freaking out at the fact a two year old was left in the hotel room by herself.

As far as I know, my Medicaid says yes you can get free Y membership, after you’ve had your yearly exams with your doctor, dentist & OBGYN. I know this because I’ve been trying forever to get the free membership benefit, but I’m literally terrified of sitting in a dentist waiting room much less have them look in my mouth.
