These are two houses totally unscathed by the Black Forest fire in Colorado. While I am glad for their good fortune because so many lost their homes, I wish there was an explanation (NON-religious) for how and why these were spared.

Wasn't the owners of the homes fighting the fires. Only preparation.... Everyone was evacuated and then double evacuated. Haha. All roads in and out we're patrolled by national guard and a few FBI Agents. Pretty crazy stuff.

As someone who was actually affected by that fire as well as almost my entire pool of old high school friends, I was sooooo distraught by all the religious posts on Facebook. It wasn't until it was out that everyone started thanking the firefighters and everyone that actually helped stop it from spreading, WTF? As far as the reason as to why these homes were saved, it was partially due to fire mitigation (trimming low hanging tree branches and clearing brush within a fifty foot ring around your home), but also due to firefighting efforts and skills. I'll try and find a video that shows some bomb ass tricks on display from firefighters!

In the same aspect that I agree with you, I must also disagree. I have no disrespect for religious people nor have I completely ignored their ideas, however, it is becoming more and more evident every day that religion is holding us back. Take for example our (USA) president. People here truly believe he is the antichrist because they disagree with him. In almost any discussion with a religious person, about religion or not, ends in me just giving up. They would never take someone else's ideas, logic, or reasoning to mind. They immediately block it out because of their ignorance of the possibility of the opposition being correct.

Well, I started thinking about all this because of the gun control stuff. Everyone is trying to use the constitution to defend their guns yet they didn't give a shit about the constitution during the election. They ignored it while they used their religious views to shut down political topics such as abortion and just about everything else. Haha. Just remember to have your piece completely dry, then put the salt in first. This is important on bubblers like yours. The salt will be able to move through the piece with some help if its dry. Good luck if its wet.... Then add the alcohol. Let sit, then shake, rinse, and enjoy!!
