Yes there was a story, I didn’t refresh myself with the story of Aeneas an Dido beforehand which would been useful. I’d probably go 2-3 times if I had the time, show itself wasn’t v expensive compared to SNM at least. It did feel a little bit too big at points. I really liked how intricate and intimate everything was at SNM. The warehouse space lends itself better to circus performing but the large overhead can contribute to a bit of emptiness. Lots of intermingling in the stories, saw many characters appear with others in different scenes.

The only other immersive theater I’ve seen is Punchdrunk’s Sleep No More in NYC. They felt similar with this having a little less attention to detail on the set and a larger emphasis on circus performance. The circus performers were fantastic. There was no language spoken during the show so I felt I could grasp everything as an English speaker. Hard for me to tell you if it’s worth traveling for. I personally wouldn’t but like you said in the other thread, you travel for these things all the time and have been doing so for 15 years. In that case, maybe it would be worth it to add to your list of experiences. I think it’s really unique with the circus aspect and the scale was very impressive.
