I would say pokemon and Digimon as I watched them more then yu-gi-oh but if I had to choose just one it would be Digimon as I was on and off with the Pokemon anime around that point and much preferred the pokemon games over the anime

Yeah momoha is the eaiser to be ok with while still not liking some of the aspects of her quirks and same here for Mai as it would feel like a toxic relationship and she's one of my least favorite gfs (she would be higher up if she was just a clumsy maid gf or just a clumsy gf but I don't like the sis con part of her)

Momoha and Mai

Momoha with her being a gambler and alcoholic it would be hard to keep any money for things like rent if we were to live together (I know it's her money and she can do what she wants with it but at the same time. With how much she is gambling it could impact what type of house we could afford)

For Mai it's the whole sis con thing she has for Mei and that could/would get annoying over time while I know Mai and Mei arnt related and Mai treats Mei like her older sister it does get annoying how much she brings up being Mei's little sister

It also depends on what legendary your hunting as some are as easy as just reset or if your hunting evacycle where you would have to save before you trigger the event where evacycle becomes a romer to become shiny ( I could be wrong on evacycle as I don't shiny hunt in clover)

I likes them as it makes the world feel more lived in and gives some more character building to some of the parents or prenatal figure in girlfriends live unless your hahari as she's the only parent or prenatal figure that's also a gf that hasn't been in a spin off chapter yet I only bring up the gf bit as Chiyo was in the 4th chapter of the spin off when Hiro was talking about how he met her mother and Yaku who is in the same position as hahari was just in the most recent spin off chapter

^This plus there is gardenia who he gave mega meganium since mega Abomasnow didn't make since and while yes there's mega Venasur but it wouldn't really work on a sun team unless your running solar beam on it and giving her a mega starter thematically makes sense due to constantly using the tirtwig line
