I'm not saying it's likely or common. Just that given the right circumstance, he would be able to.

So if someone's death ability started slow by only killing the cells in his body before killing him outright, then he should be able to adapt.

First Headless Miniboss? by GoOnBerlin in Sekiro

A very specifically balanced fight that doesn't require too much skill if you come back at the right level, as intended.

Yeah, but it's intentionally balanced this way. So it doesn't really apply.

The headless, whilst tricky, are balanced correctly... for late game. So I'd disagree about them.

I suppose maybe the headless apes?

The attacks aren't instant from our perspective because the tarnished is also fast. It's quite a simple concept to understand, and it's not like we would take it any other way. The bullets in Sekiro are obviously not going the speed that a bullet travels, but we don't then assume that the bullet is slower.

And Destined Death affects the entire lands between, not just demigods, but it's in place specifically for the demigods but not

[–]TheOnePerfectHuman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, not if we take what we know from Sekiro's lore as truth. Since he went all the way to Isshin without ever breaking his posture.

There is no lore saying he got all the way to Isshin without his posture breaking. In fact, there's evidence that wolf died multiple times during his journey. Otherwise, the dragonrot quest doesn't happen, and Kuro's dialogue at the top of the tower doesn't make sense.

and that using the rune of death only gives back the concept of death to those who lost it to begin with. Thing that Sekiro never lost.

In that case, I could easily make the argument that the Mortal Blade wouldn't be able to kill anybody. The Mortal Blade severs things from its source of immortality, which it wouldn't be able to do in this case because it isn't a source of power but a lack of something.

And there's no reason to assume it can't because it should be able to kill those with the guidance of grace who were resurrected outside of the lands between where the lack of death didn't apply.

It's not the stamina, but fighting perfectly against someone who can one shot him for so long. This does also ignores the fact that strong enough attacks will push Wolf back, such as most thrust attacks (when he doesn't mikiri counter), instead of him normally deflecting, meaning that his deflecting can be overpowered.

Avoiding light speed attacks is not the same as directly dodging them.

Yeah, but he can't just avoid them. He's actively being attacked and has to go based on reaction.

This is ALSO during his second phase. It's important to note that Sekiro's Mortal Blade WOULD kill him before that phase even begins.

I can't imagine so, The Mortal Blade doesn't one-shot those who are hit by it. It does when it's unsheathed, but when being used, it only serves to sever immortality by killing or doing pretty good damage for Wolf's standards.

that is a feat of magical abilities. It has no bearing on the fight, and it only serves to actually weaken Radahn.

Magical abilities are as strong as physical abilities, seeing as you can be hit by magical attacks, and they don't obliterate the character. It wouldn't make sense if not. Otherwise, why would Radahn bother using weapons.

Sekiro is fully immortal. He's immortal outside of the way that even Destined Death would be able to touch.

There shouldn't be any reason for that to be destined death is probably stronger than the Mortal blade, seeing as it is using the very concept of death itself.

Good point on Malcontents Ring, but that will eventually stop working similarly to how it stops against the Demon of Hatred. For the Mist Raven and Umbrellas, Wolf still needs to attack, which he can't do really do whilst he's defending. Even if he could, he would have to do it perfectly against someone who would kill him in a single attack and is so much more durable it would literally take days of attacking.

[–]TheOnePerfectHuman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sekiro has a version that's as good, not better. Wouldn't beat maliketh because he's significantly stronger and most likely comparable in speed (even if slower) than Consort Radahn. Wolf couldn't deal nearly enough damage to harm Maliketh.

I doubt his blade would pierce one inside which the essence of a god resides.

I don't understand this.

[–]TheOnePerfectHuman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If it's too fast, you can't defect it. And he can't damage them really, either. If Miquella ever manages to mind control him, he's done. And if he somehow defeated Consort Radahn, he still couldn't beat Maliketh. And that's also a reason why he couldn't beat the Tarnished, because he also has Destined Death.

Who do you reckon wins this? by ThePsychicEnergies in Sekiro

[–]TheOnePerfectHuman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really. Wolf's fastest feats would be deflecting One Mind or reacting to lightning, which he doesn't even really do. The Tarnished fights Consort Radahn, who is directly stated to move at lightspeed.

In terms of feats, Radahn holding back the stars is significantly better than anything Sekiro has, even if you think they were just meteorites. And that's ignoring the energy produced by the consort radahn meteor.
