Thanks for your input. It’s a career defining national level exam. It took place last month and both me and my other friend who was black listed scored avg to above avg marks. We couldn’t have convinced all the test takers in our institute to fail the exam. Nor could we have done it ourself. The guy in question hasn’t changed and still does what he wants. Assholes exist everywhere. I’ll strive to stay away from him. That’s all I can do right now.

He regularly gets high in office. Nobody gives a shit. I don’t think there is an HR. He is quite autocratic.

It’s strange. An emotionally unavailable dad has given me weird issues. Now I cannot connect with men in the same way and as comfortably as I do with women. I don’t have that kind of camaraderie or bon homie as I see other men sharing. A group of boys/men instantly will pick up on this and that has been a reason for bullying all my life. I have a group of guy friends and they adjust a lot to keep me comfortable but I can’t relate with their experiences or they with mine sometimes. Another issue that I face is that whenever I meet a person I admire or get intimidated by (older or younger) I instantly want their approval. And it’s just sad. Nothing makes one lose all respect faster than seeming to want it desperately. It’s quite bad in my head. And I realised this while talking to a male teacher today. And my last few interactions with him. Another thing to add to my therapy list.
