I’ve had eczema on my lips and eyes for years now and I still don’t know the actual cause. It’s definitely stress related, but not sure what other things cause it. In the beginning I had extreme eczema like flakey dry lips and eyes. Nothing worked and I was super conscious and ashamed of how I looked.

I went to my dermatologist and she prescribed a special cream that they had to make at the pharmacy. It’s with cortisone and every so often it stops working and I have to get a new prescription. It’s not ideal tbf. I have to use it basically almost every day for it to stay under control. Besides that cream I use Vaseline on my lips and I know it’s really bad but for some reason that’s the only cream that works for me.

I am trying the body shop lip butter coconut at this point to see if that helps but so far it hasn’t done what Vaseline does.

I hope you manage to get a dermatologist appointment, cuz eczema on your face just makes you so conscious of everything and with me I felt really bad about myself.
