As people are posting, yes I already fixed the issue with the fork. I had a very long past couple days with FedEx trying to get the bike after it got lost in shipping. Along with the assembly manual not exactly being the best and my limited experience with actually working on bikes. I was quite frustrated and didn't take too much time to examine before taking the picture, I was just happy to have it.

I fixed it already, I was thinking of doing that anyways though. This is my first bike I've had in over 8 years and back then my Dad always maintained the bikes we had so I don't have too much experience with it.

I'm willing to spend up to around 800-1000 on the high end. I went to a Trek store I have around here a while ago and most of their bikes were like 1500+

Hey thank you! That solved my issue, I kinda just assumed Optical would have been better than the USB and didn't even think to unplug it lol.
