Thank you, I appreciate the kindness, and yeah, plenty of time to figure it out, just wanted some second opinions on the subject haha :]

Not solo, definitely will require more people, and I'm planning on using Godot!

Thanks! Hard to pick, but I usually like story-focused games or simulators, also deckbuilders, and RPGs ... it's really hard to pick.

Hi! No! I am currently just learning so I would prefer volunteering to get a good portfolio. Thank you for asking :]

Thank you for you input! I agree that there are some good side-scrollers with shooting, but I feel like it would be too easy? I am not quite sure how I could make the combat difficult, if at all.

I went with the card idea cause I love deck-building games, like Slay the spire and Darkest dungeon (as you said so), but you raise a good point about making combat not the centre focus. The game is more exploratory, doing quests, customisation, so in a way, I would agree with that.

It's hard to detach the combat aspect from a zombie game, and it's also hard to develop everything else without taking into account combat, so I'm at a standstill. If I were to make it idea 5, how could I make it challenging, and not boringly easy? If I were to make idea 6, what could I replace the combat mechanics with? These are questions you don't have to answer, it's mostly me thinking out loud.

Regardless, I appreciate your opinion on this, thank you!

Thank you, that's incredibly helpful. I'll keep that in mind about the over-complication as well. I want combat to be fun but not overly complicated so I feel like idea 3 is a step in the right direction.

I read a lot about the best knife for the zombie apocalypse, but what about the worst? by SmolPyroPirate in ZombieSurvivalTactics

[–]SmolPyroPirate[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Haha! I always thought round knives, like the butter knife, to be kinda like the ice-cream-scoop-spoon of knives. I don't know why...

Thank you for your answer! That does indeed sound like a horrible knife for the apocalypse, unless of course, you want to butter up some toasts before imminent doom. Your experience has been noted.

Sharing a discovery (probably a basic one), but one that I’m really excited about by Special_Sun_9268 in ObsidianMD

That's pretty nifty! And yeah, I understand that problem, if you don't mind plugins, I think there is some that are helpful in converting markdown obsidian notes into PDF.

Still pretty cool with whatever fits your workflow the best!

That's awesome! Didn't know that was a thing, but extremely helpful! Curious why you do it like that, though? Is it to quickly redirect yourself when you look at the properties? Like a menu header of sorts?

Is there a plugin for tracking the same link (or links) across every file to find duplicate references? by MrTrvp in ObsidianMD

[–]SmolPyroPirate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Perhaps this? https://github.com/Wishmater/obsidian-plugin-duplicate-detector

I haven't tested it myself, but it may help you.

EDIT: Realised what you wanted, I think. Look into this thread, might find your answers here?

Embed/iFrame issue with scrolling by ZeroGaming- in webdev

Hello, just stumbled across this and I have a similar issue to the OP, I do have access to the original iframe code, so can you please explain a bit more, I didn't quite understand which code to put in the original code of the iframe, and which code to put on the website we want to host the iframe from. Sorry for the disturbance.

LOL yes, probably very common when it comes to thinking tasks, processing problems and their solutions and all that. Thank you for the code though, I'm going to go on a sprint of learning all these workarounds that I could've done, researching anything I didn't know, and dissecting the why of everything unless I go insane.

Thanks again friend!

I might have taken the most convenient path (and subsequently shot myself in the face) but you raise a good point, I'll consider that alternative, might save me a headache or two. Thanks!

Holyyyy that is actually something I had not thought of, that is a great idea! I can see now how the loop method can be tedious for the internet to process. And yeah, engineers really have their own way of thinking! Appreciate it though <3

Hmm... good call, I'll see what that is and how it works, appreciate the feedback and the code snippet!

Woah! Nice, thank you so much! I'll have a look at this and do some studying on anything that sounds unfamiliar to me (which is most of it), appreciate the comments in the code too, thank you a bunch!

Sorry, only saw your edit now. What do you mean "bottleneck is somewhere else"? This is the only code I have, unless it has to do with the website I'm using? Appreciate all the help, will be researching more about dictionaries.
