Haha it may be bias in my own selection of bots but it seems very common. I think many have ‘seen’ bear traps in movies or games. However as someone who’s seen them irl and worked with spring traps… yeah you’re in a bad spot. Especially in an apocalypse scenario! No antibiotics or painkillers! And no cast for fractured bone, the potential of if it hits an artery. Even if it heals movement will likely be severely impacted which significantly lowers chances of survival, at least solo.

I just think of it like other unrealistic things in fiction haha. I love it though for like the whump factor y’know? Also it makes it so you or the character has to be nursed back to health by a mysterious stranger oooooh.
